Greatest games with dissapointing endings? *spoilers*

What's some really great game with ending that left you really dissapointed?

I think GTAIV ...
[spoiler] Where Niko just kills that guy, Roman comes over and says some dramatic dialogue, and the camera zooms into the Statue of Liberty and fades to black was so dissapointing. I was hoping for more of an ending after that... like showing a retrospective of Niko's journey or something... instead it felt cut short. [/spoiler]

Games that could be wrapped up in one game but purposely have a crap ending forcing a sequel. Some examples are RB6 and AC.

And yeah, GTA4 had a completely crap ending to finish a disaster of a story...man did they mess that up.

MGS4, I liked it and I didn't like it :?

MGS3 ending was better no doubt

Being one of my favorite games, the end was still a big disappointment. Martin was an awesome guy yet has to sacrifice himself to cast Mehrunes Dagon back into Oblivion. The world just felt empty at the end without Martin or any other emperor.

I just finished it today, this is the ending where you refuse to join the C-consciousness. It was a pretty confusing ending and I didn't get very many answers from it. Did the zone disappear or what?

I'm a fan of the MGS series and even I admit MGS4 had a weak ending. Oh, and then there's also Bioshock.

Agreed, I was going to say GTA4. I felt the whole story was weak. I wanted the feel of Vice City where you really rise to power. The end was so anticlimatic. Fignewton50

That's why I never finished it. The game lost the magic that the past GTA games possessed. The whole game was just way to realistic and lost all of the wackiness and elaborate missions the rest of the franchise was known for.

Ugh, yes. The BioShock endings were so short and disappointing. :(

MGS4. It's like they didn't know where to end it, so they just patched a ton of scenes together, some good and some goofy.BioShockOwnz

Me too, I'd heard about the multiple different endings before I'd finished it and was really dissapointed by the one I got. Althought my overall dissapointment with the whole game didn't help any.

Just snipe those 4 guys and walk down the rest with an M4. I smoked them that way.

That game's ending was really short and the extra endings weren't worth the time consuming.

I'm on the final island and just can't bring myself to do it. It just feels like a hassle. Surprisingly enough, I actually somewhat enjoy the online.

Hmm..well then I guess you should try to move slow. The only mission I struggled with was the last one and it was because the AI became buggy. For the construction I think I had body armor and a lot of bullets. Try some nades too.

That is true, but it is so slow, has random events happen that separate your team making you play as the other characters, I am completely sick of that crap...plus all the bugs...maybe I will play it again after another week.

worst ending Kotor 2 wasnt bad it was werid i mean you fight floating sabers then the rock blows up and you fly a way it's kinda like wtf?

but worst ending easily is Haze i mean the begining of the game you where like okay these guys are high it was werid so werid they way they talked and everything. then the ending hes like we destroyed it and made it worth the while now whats next then credits hit im like wtf.

What was so crap about it, I thought it was epic as hell. And I spent hours upon hours playing Halo 2 with my friends. Midship with swords FTW!
