DICE has been disolved by EA just like Bioware. We will never get another BF game on par with BC2, BF3 and BF4

I remember when DICE was just some amateur group making the best mod for BF1942 - Desert Combat.

How far they've come and gone.

we get battlefield 19 and COD 25 but never got Half life 3.

@pyro1245: DICE made the original BF1942. That game got a ton of mods. I remember playing Star Wars, vietnam and the desert combat mods.

Desert combat was made by Trauma studios, who later became Kaos Studios. They made Frontlines: Fuel of war, which was kinda like Battlefield and they made Homeland 1.

@ghosts4ever: You should check out Wrath Aeon of Ruin. It's made by pees who used to work on quake engine game. And has gameplay with the speed of the last two doom games.

I haven't had as much fun with these games since this gen with the larger map and player count, just too chaotic. Never bothered to finish the BF5 campaign, not that I wasn't interested, but the main menus were constantly communicating with EA and bogging down just loading the game, I gave up. I would love a return of Bad Company, both the story and the online.

I am not against releasing another generic military shooter, just do a good job. I have never been much on the EA is evil bandwagon, but this gen especially they just shit the bed, multiple times. Titanfall 2 is really about the only decent shooter they've put out all gen having both a quality SP campaign and fun online gameplay. BF1 is starting to feel like a fluke.

I miss the days when Battlefield was great unfortunately it turned into another COD clone.

Bad Company 3 is the only BF game I will buy.

DICE needs to think big again. Modern Battlefields, while fun, feel smaller than the original games. Smaller maps, less vehicles, less gameplay possibilities, less players, less everything.

That would require common sense. Can’t expect ghosts to have that.

Make it like Bad Company 2. BC2 was the last truly great Battlefield.

Agree, although I still prefer Battlefield 2 gameplay over it but at this point BFBC2 gameplay would be good compared to the shell of what the series has become.

you should be excited because its MP game. on other hand I (ie me) playing masterpiece like Doom Eternal and Hype for Remake of Masterpiece that is Mafia.

Hopefully, this series would have a better atlernative history than last series which had only the 1st game took place in the Cold War. They really need better story writers.
