Games you're still playing a year later

Whether you simply didn't finish it, or it's just that good and you keep playing - what games are you still playing a year later? Mine are Far Cry 4, Super Smash Brothers Wii U, and Starcraft 2. I've been meaning to finish Far Cry 4 for a while now, but then Fallout 4 happened. Smash Bros is always good to play, the DLC keeps you coming back for more. Starcraft 2 is just awesome and always has been. What about you, SW? What games?

Only Smash and coincidentally enough it's both version.

I still play BO1, and BO2 mostly for zombies. I'll usually play MGS2 one or twice a year, probably my favorite game of all time!

Started Counter Strike over 15 years ago, it's essentially still the same game!

Destiny

Couple of Indy games on PS4.

Farcry 4

Hell in still playing SHOGUN2 and Civ V and those games are a few years old.

Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Super Street Fighter IV 3D.

I guess you could count GTA5.

CS GO, DOTA 2, NBA(feels like a year already LOL)

I still dabble with a few, but Destiny is probably the one I play the most out of them all.

Halo MCC

Heroes of Might And Magic 3, have been playing that for 17 years straight (thanks to the wake of gods and horns of the abyss mods)

And Xcom (UFO Defense) i have been playing every year for 22 years. (playing open Xcom works better on modern computers)

And the original Deus Ex i complete that at least once a year (playing through amazing Revision Mod at the moment) for 16 years.

The Greats never get old :P

The funny thing is im not still playing anything at all from the last year or two.,not sure why, plenty of great games just never feel the need to go back...probably has something to do with my crazy backlog (damn game bundles)

Destiny and Battlefield 4 come to mind. Both were supported extremely well post-launch and are now some of the finest shooters you can play.

I still play 1.6 every single day, have been since 2000 haha.

Divinity: Original Sin from last year.

Overall, I still play Max Payne 2 several times a year. And I still play Starcraft 2 (all campaigns), Freelancer, Freespace 2, System Shock 2, Thief 1/2, Half Life 1/2, Crysis, STALKER, The Witcher trilogy, Mass Effect trilogy, Dead Space trilogy, No One Lives Forever 1/2, Company of Heroes, Total War games, World in Conflict, FEAR, Diablo 2/3, Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven, Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of the Colossus, Tenchu, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell 1-4 etc.

You'll like it more as you progress through the game. Every encounter in the game is handcrafted and brings some twist. Not to mention, rewarding exploration. It's my GOTY 2014. Can't wait for the sequel.

Exclusive content. Better graphics and performance. Of course I got the PS4 version! The Ghost Edition even. I'm down to play anytime during the day Tuesday but after that I will be pretty spotty. Moving into the new crib will eat up a ton of my free time for the next couple of weeks. The Sparrow Racing League thing is pretty cool though! And believe it or not, I'm level 40 and have never done a raid....... My NeoGaf group is too flaky to get enough people together to knock one out. I wonder if a System Wars group could be more reliable......

I haven't replayed my old games in a looooooong time, always looking forward for something new.

There was supposed to be a Destiny SW clan and a couple of people on SW even made a Destiny SW group chat on gamespot then all of a sudden it got abandoned lol

i play Destiny daily as i have my very own big clan of girls and guys who play the game daily we literally do every single event every week from raiding to nightfall to racing to the hardest of them all Trials of Osiris

Destiny despite it being too repetitive and owned by a crappy dev like bungie who rarely even fix the game its highly addictive when played with people especially if you have a clan of people who are active but who knows how long the clan will be active for especially now that bungie confirmed there is no more dlc for the current destiny coming in anymore but only special events like the racing event we have now so no more new strikes, raids, etc till the next Destiny game which is 100% will be Destiny 2 (wouldnt be surprised if Bungie has already started working on Destiny 3 even)

King of Fighters XIII

Just Destiny. Game is like crack. After the disappointing vanilla never thought the game could have this grasp on me.

I'm still playing Persona Q on my 3DS... nearly done, I promise.

Super Smash Bros 3DS, Hotline Miami, Duke Nukem 3D, and World of Warcraft are the games I still go back to these days cause they are just fun to me.

im a level 40 on all 3 characters but i main a Titan so Titan is all i use and defender is the only sub-class i use in PvE and PvP also its such a clutch of a class

I think Doom II: Hell On Earth is probably the game I've played for the longest period of time, regularly, since first getting into it at the age of 8 in 1994.

GTA V

Great topic TC. I go back to MGS at least yearly. This year it was MGS 4 and PW. Been on gears 2, 3 a bit as well as Fable 2. MCC because it's my favorite series and ODST joined this year. Sunset Overdrive is still fun to go back and make clips of the mayhem is a blast. Played red dead, marvel ultimate alliance 2 on ps3 again. That's a 2 game remaster pack I would buy: marvel ultimate alliance 1&2.
