Well these games were all below 8.0 and I thought they were really fun: Sacred 2, Crackdown, Bully S.E., the Hardwood games, Pac-Man C.E. (this one was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay underrated imo) & Mirror's Edge.
Are there games that you found them to be fun and addictive but Gamespot gave them low scores?
I found that Red Alert 3 for 360 is fun, and it's the most addictive RTS I ever played, and I've played alot of RTS's. Although my PC can easily handle this game but I don't feel like playing it on PC.

I prefer C&C3 on 360, Red Alert 3 was pretty gimped, it felt too simple to play
However, I quite liked Mercenaries 2, the idea was good and it was enjoyable, but it was glitchy, had busted AI and PS2 graphics
I won't list A games like some, cause A's aren't crap.
Silent Hill: Homecoming, Halo Wars, Blue Dragon, Rise of the Argonauts, Too Human, Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon, Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, Bionic Commando, Zeno Clash, Demigod, Clive Barker's Jericho, Alone In The Dark, Sonic Unleashed, Wheelman, and Kane & Lynch.
There are many more, but yeah, I'll just stick with recent ones I remember.
NBA Ballers: Chosen One on the XBOX 360. I loved it, spent so much time playing it and I usually dont even like basketball games that much.
Yet, it got something like 5.5 on here.
Clive Barker's Jericho. I actually really liked that game. It had a pretty good story too (well, up until the non-existant ending) but what do you expect from a game with Clive Barker in the title?
Me too, but I refrained from mentioning it because, while it is all of those things, it's not something I would really describe as "fun" or "addicting".Last gen I found Siren to be compelling, interesting, frightening, and highly rewarding.
hakanakumono
smash bro. melee had the biggest fighter following last gen and gamespot rated it "a pile" surrealnumber5
Didn't Melee get a good score? :?
Anyway,I quite enjoyed Shadow the Hedgehog. Why did gamespot give it a 4.7? Sure, there were flaws, but some of the levels are rather interesting. And you can always set goals for yourself by getting higher scores.
It yields rewards, too. Completing every mission with the best grade unlocks an expert mode where you go through a harder version of every level.
The Club
From the gamestop review: The lack of a cover mechanic stands out
The Club is actually more of a shooter/racing hybrid. You're supposed to see how fast you can run through the level. That's the point of the game. You're not supposed to stop and cover. Duh.
Infinite Undiscovery
Fun game, I don't think the reviewer played it very long. You have to play for a few hours to get into it.
Last Remnant
Also takes time to get into plus you have to install in to the hard drive.
Army of Two 6.5??
WTH??
How the heck can you stand playing Red Alert 3 with a controller?
I bought the PC version, I play it online ALOT. I've got like 500 wins and 400 loses...with games averaging around 15 minutes, that's a lot of playing time.
Anyway, Socom Confrontation is massively underrated. One of the best online tactical shooters out, if not the best.

Very easy actually, select building, pull the trigger, point analogue stick to unit, click. etc
Zeno Clash. Gamespot gave it a 6.5 but I found it to have one of the best melee combat systems in any game I've played. The artstyle and world were both stunning and bizarre at the same time. I do not regret my purchase one bit.

Mario Kart 64. :|DaBrainz
You won with that answer. My friends and I used to pull all nighters with that game back in college. Pizza beer and battlemode is all we needed.
Apart from the beer, yes, that's how it should be done. :P
Too Human (yeah) and Crash Bandicoot 1 (6.8 my @ss)
I agree, in my opinion it was one of the better Simpson's gameThe Simpsons road rage
