Games that you found fun and addictive but Gamespot said it's crap

Are there games that you found them to be fun and addictive but Gamespot gave them low scores?

I found that Red Alert 3 for 360 is fun, and it's the most addictive RTS I ever played, and I've played alot of RTS's. Although my PC can easily handle this game but I don't feel like playing it on PC.

Crash bandicoot wrath of cortex, it was an awesome game but rated very low on GS

Legend of Dragoon always comes to mind first. Classic. I'm waiting for a sequel Sony :evil:.

for me i gotta say i was addicted to two games

(not sure of name) but it was the bruce lee game that came out early in the life of xbox 1 i beat that game over and over and over lol

also the jet li game on the ps2 rise to honor that game got a 5.0 from gamespot and i will say it has the worst gun play in any game i ever played but i loved the fighting and beat that game over and over and over also (but not as much as the bruce lee game lol)

I've always been baffled by this review http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/atvoffroadfury/index.html?tag=result;title;4 . My first PS2 game, it was awesome, great rock music, and addictive as hell. I never trust reviews because of this one game. Thank god, if that wast he case I would have missed out on some incredible games.

If you have an Xbox 360 and like wonderfully stupid over the top shooters *buy this game*

Men of War

One of the best Real Time Tactical games I have played in ages.

Its scope, the detail, the mission design and gameplay, is all superb. The epitome of an epic war game.

SOCOM Confrontation: Its a good game that was unfortunately released far too early.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and the second Baten Kaitos game. Both of which were disliked because of how "difficult" they were. Personally that difficulty is what made the games so fun. You had to think ahead of the curve. I played through both of them twice.

Sonic Unleashed (PS360) Better than...I want to say "better than Mario Galaxy" but I can't because I haven't played Mario Galaxy enough to have a solid opinion on it. But Sonic Unleashed it still one of the best games of 2008.

How the heck can you stand playing Red Alert 3 with a controller?

I bought the PC version, I play it online ALOT. I've got like 500 wins and 400 loses...with games averaging around 15 minutes, that's a lot of playing time.

Anyway, Socom Confrontation is massively underrated. One of the best online tactical shooters out, if not the best.

- Wizardry Gold - Fantastic RPG that gamespot gave a 5/10. Deserves 8/10 at least.

- Lost Odyssey - 2nd best rpg this gen and only got a 7 at gamespot (The Witcher is the only better rpg this gen.. maybe drakensang and neverwinter nights2).

- Too Human - Tons of fun on coop with a friend.

- Ratchet And Clank on ps3 - Another 7/10 for a fantastic game.

The Simpsons Road Rage, Gamespot gave it like a 6.2 and while I admit the singleplayer isn't up to much, the game is awesome in head to head

Assuming crap means < 7, I would say

HoMM V : Tribes of East, probably the best heroes games since 3

Mount and Blade : The reviewer totally over looked the main point of the game

Shadowrun. 6.9. But I know a couple of games that scored 3.1 points higher on here this gen that I found more a lot boring than Shadowrun.
