Xbox One's Free Forza Fast & Furious Game Out Now

Free standalone racing game now available on Xbox One and Xbox 360; Features cars from the upcoming action movie.

The free Forza Horizon 2 spinoff themed around upcoming movie Furious 7 is now available on Xbox One and Xbox 360. It's a standalone game, meaning it does not require a copy of any previous Forza title to play. Officially called "Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious," the game will be free through April 10. After that, it will cost $10.

The campaign features Fast & Furious star Tej Parker (voiced in the game by Ludacris), who recruits players on a mission to acquire ten cars. These will be the same cars that appear in Furious 7, which hits theaters April 3.

"Your goal is to acquire each of these cars by taking part in a series of automotive challenges inspired by the Fast & Furious films," Microsoft explains in a blog post.

"From the 900-hp 1970 Dodge Charger to an armored 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and more, each of the cars in the Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious standalone expansion is both stunningly accurate and amazingly fun to drive."

I will download this ASAP....FH2 is one of the best racers ever and the game just keeps on giving.

I'll be downloading this when I get home. Who knows, maybe it'll get me interested in paying for the main game?

Only played the intro and the first race but it is FH2 just with what seemed like (from looking at the map) a smaller play area and smaller car roster/modes etc. which is to be expected, but for someone on the fence of whether or not to buy FH2 it's a great demo.

It's still 18gig though :O.

I loved the first one, and I haven't bought the 2nd one yet. I will though, because I'm really enjoying this expansion pack. I need a good, content filled racer.

Microsoft is really looking out for gamers with their live, learn, and love philosophy. By golly, they are delivering on their promises.

I've been playing it and it is great! Cars have that distinguishable difference between them, great sense of speed, NITROUS!!!!

Finished it. Took me a little under 3 hours. That was the easiest 1000GPs I've ever gotten.

It was good though. Great cars. Great racing.

well, if you have an xbone you should at least give it a shot since it costs you nothing. i hate racing games but the horizon series is pretty fun.

Just started and picked up the first car. The game is still kinda open world and a blast to play.

Not to mention easy achievements. I got 400gs in 20 minutes.

Really surprised at the game you get considering it is free, I am really enjoying it. Even when it is $10 it would still be worth it. It does not even feel like a Fast and Furious game which I was worried about but instead just a smaller Horizon game.
