It's not a launch trailer, it's a debut trailer. A launch trailer is put out when the game is released.

He said racing king, not racing sim king.
Either way iRacing is better. They release a game every 2 years. They are milking it well.
SupraGT
So Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone.. are all getting milked?

A sim like this should have a longer life span.
Those games you mentioned are different in that people are done with them after 1 week of campaign and 3 months of online.
With a game like Forza the fun factor can drag on for longer because there are so many things to explore. It felt like I just bought the game.

Still I think 1 year is more than enough to explore everything in the game and finish everything.
I love the Forza series so knowing next year i'll be playing F4 is good news to me :)
Hopefully Turn10 will add new modes, tracks & features...

I really hope they add a larger variety of tracks this time. I'm loving 3, but it seems like I'm always driving on the same 5 over and over again.

How far are you in the game? I admit that they couldve been spread out better and a number of them are just remodels of a few others, but theres still loads of tracks, AFAIK 25 on the disc. They release a game every 2 years. They are milking it well.
SupraGT
The game in your sig.......DOA5 with Tekken characters?
Is that Elliot? He fights EXACTLY like he does too.

ya isnt there like over 200 people working on it?. they also are starting from stratch so alot of the data is just used over, so that would cut down hours of time
This'll be interesting. Let's see what they can improve on. GT has been released and sets a standard for presentation (Vast minority of its cars) and driving physics. Let's hope all this Kinect nonsense doesn't take away the focus on realistic driving physics.
Also I hope MS can do some special advertisment, or sign somen deals that'll get Forza the sales it deserves. A game os this calibre really shouldnt be struggling for sales. It obviously hasnt got the history or brand recognition of GT, but it has the gameplay

I know not very far, but I must've done at least 75-100 races so far and the track selection seems very limited. Just gets a little repetitious is all. I still love it though, my favorite racing game ever and I'm really looking forward to 4.OK,I don't think many would hav finished with Forza 3, But check this out,the launch trailer of FORZA4.... xbx.lv/gCrzPl The new racing king after Forza 3..???kuvze
thnx for sharing that, looks awesome. at the end of the vid it had the top gear logo on it too :P forza 4 will be great
They are AAA games so the more the better so it is not like we are talking about GT games. 9.5,9.2 >7.5,7,5 and 8.0. Turn 10 has shown they put out great games so keep em coming I sayThey release a game every 2 years. They are milking it well.

Well if releasing AAA racing games is milking. Turn 10 better keep doing it ;)
I guess this time it's gonna be obviously more cars and tracks apart gem what will follow as dlc's plus night racing, weather, dirt, snow,in shrt diff terrains, climatic changes, and I guess kinect support will only be for photo mode and gallery plus customization, they cannot trust the controller car handling for 500 cars with a motion controller, and I am looking forward to all tht was awesome abt Forza 3 to be carried forward to the next one, turn 10 is doin an awesome job..!!!!kuvzethe kinect part of the game is to make the package more family friendly and in general to make it feel like a bigger package. they had seperate teams work on the kinect portion and the game portion. kinect portion got a 6 month head start (it began 60 months before Forza 3 launched.) by a seprate team. don't worry people kinect won't interfer with the racing part of forza 4. there are 2 diffrent teams that are independent of each other. Ms probab;y pour a lot more money to outsource some talent. probably got thier kinect studi, good science to help.

Yep. I'm also excited of the TG partnership. It would appear FM4 will have the TG test track :)
I wonder how the game will rival GT5's features
Like how many cars will it have? (and what'll be impressive is that they'll all be "Premium" models all with cockpit view)
How many tracks will it have? How many cars racing at a time? etc.
and of course...how many disks will the game be :P
but yeah, can't wait to see more details, might just hold off on getting Forza 3, and just get GT5 now, and wait for Forza 4

Well in terms of car count all FM4 needs is 500 shipped with the game. All with cockpit of course.
Disks wise I'd say two.

haha, the disk thing was more of a joke than anything :P but actually how much of the second dvd did Forza 3 even use? if not much, they could fit a ton of cars, tracks etc on it.
I'm mostly wondering if it will have night racing, whether, if they'll up the cars per race (i.e. like GT5's 16 cars), basically if it'll match GT5's features, only make them better.
as of right now f3 has in between 500-600 cars so im guessing this game will be pretty close to the 1000 mark (which would be amazing as every car would have cockpit and full damage as well as customization :) ) either way its going to be a great game

i have both gt5 and forza 3 and all i can say is that the inconsistencies in gt5 completely ruined the game for me i bought it a week ago and id say ive put maybe 5 hours into it (lvl 12) wheras i couldnt put forza 3 down for 2 weeks when i bought it think i hit the level cap in the game actually (the only thing forza 4 should fix from 3 is the lobby system as it sucked ass compared to the system in 2)

I have the game, and like you, I haven't been able to put it down since the day it came out, the vast variety of things to do really does contribute. As for your complaints, I don't see why they couldn't do more day/night/weather tracks either, but honestly and without trying to just pass it off, I don't really notice it. There is nearly always a premium option for any car to suit your needs, and the ai does not simply follow the line. I have tried this many times, and it may just be because it progresses through levels. Please Log In to post.
