Think I’ll only buy dragon quest 11 from that list on releases, my backlog is just to big at the moment..
Not much that interests me. Maybe Mega Man 11 but I know I won't play it consistently enough to be very good at it. There's still games released last year that I want to get around to playing.

If you only buy Dragon Quest XI it should be fine since it's a 60 to 120hr game.
Make sure you vote in my hype thread Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age
I'm not gonna buy any new games the rest of the year except Smash. Black Friday I will be looking for some deals though on old games I still haven't bought.
I will get at least 10 of those.
Two of them Spider Man and Dragon Quest 11 are already paid for. I'm starting DQ11 tonight at 10pm, and I pre-ordered a PS4 pro Spiderman edition (figured why the hell not get the free game and limited time console and controller) even though I didn't even have much interest in the game... Brand new game I wouldn't have bought otherwise for free? Sure sign me up. The console is kinda lame looking with the red and spider.. but meh.. been wanting a PS4 pro and all the black ones are sold out because of the Spidey pre-order bundle... so why not.
The last special edition console I got was a PS2 that came with Gran Turismo 2 I believe.
RDR2 is the only one I care about.
And NBA Live 19? Really? I don't know - maybe you have your reasons for Live over 2K, but whatever those reasons are, they are wrong.
So crowded in fact, pre-orders are down on every franchise game not named RDR2 coming out this fall according to retailers. They really need to do something about these release dates.

It's probably just as much to do with the Fortnite effect.
Yeah, I don't get why they all seem to release on top of each other...
All hoping to cash in on the holiday rush. This was MS's original formula for releasing their AAA games. Now everyone wants to join that train but you see the result!
This is why Sony starting staggering their AAA releases to also cover March-April and June-July before the 3th quarter hits around September.
Nintendo did the same thing last year with Zelda and Mario.
With RDR2 coming out October all AAAs not Spidermans level should have steered clear of it's release. Hell even Sony made sure Spiderman did not release the same month as RDR2 and STILL Spiderman is lumped in with another heavy hitter this month, AAA Dragon Quest XI RELEASING TODAY, is within days if each other.
It's crazy, I'm still bought both Spiderman and Dragon Quest XI (only 3 days apart)...but most people wont.

I never realized it was MS fault for games being released around the busy Christmas periods.
You learn something new everyday!
@boycie:
You're welcome!
Also, it's a fact that AAA games used to release on a more random time frame years before. MS would not release ANY AAA titles outside of the holiday season and only 1 or 2 titles when they did to maximize their profits for a single game.
Only console hardware releases were exclusive to the holiday release timeline before now and the Nintendo Switch is virtually the only console (well hybrid) to break that tradition so far.
@boycie: Lol yeah, it's always MS's fault.
Did you know MS also kill badgers with hammers while they sleep?
@boycie: Lol yeah, it's always MS's fault.
I didn't say it was anyone's "fault" I just said it was a trend popularized by MS AAA release strategy and not a great idea if everyone else is also banking on the same game plan.
It worked for MS for many years before, but I don't remember a holiday season this bunched up with AAA and AAs in a long time if ever. Defiantly the most flooded for this generation..
This strategy works when there are fewer big AAAs to choose from. There are probably few people who can play every game they'd like to play from this years holiday line up and that hasn't happened in...well I can't even remember.

Lol, lemmings are so easily triggered.
@zappat:
Apparently so.
lol I just say something that is commonly known even among the xbox community and I get attacked.
Nobody attacked you bud. No need to be so defensive. I just seem to remember Christmas time being busy for new games right back to when I owned a Sinclair Spectrum 30 years ago.
@R4gn4r0k: I have a PS4 as well. Nothing about my comment had anything to do with ps4. Are you really this insecure you brag about your console even out of context? Lol you

The fock are you talking about ?
I was agreeing with you, and saying that I hope RDR will come to PC too.
I think you mistakingly took that for sarcasm, lol
@R4gn4r0k: definitely agreed. Even though this gen when given the option I’m prefering to buy my games on Switch I wish for a day where all games come to pc. If GTA5 came to PC i don’t get why rdr2 wouldn’t. Still wish rdr 1 did. I find 90% of my gaming is on pc and switch. The rest is for ps4. I just hate the low battery life of ps4 controller so that has been a turnoff for me. Great game library though which is why I wish those I could play those great games elsewhere.

Rockstar announced Max Payne 3 for PC rightaway, saying that it was a PC franchise so they wanted to treat the PC version with the upmost care.
But they kinda forget how GTA started on PC too, of course the only GTA game on their mind is GTA III which was a massive success on consoles and launched Rockstar into this Godlike status. You can still see GTA III's influence on many open world games today.
GTA was always a bigger success on consoles, but it always came to PC as well.
I bought RDR on PS3 as well, but I was not happy with the way it controlled.
I bought GTA IV and GTA V on 360 and PS3 resepectively and I was not happy with the way those performed. I guess I'm just don't buying Rockstar games on consoles. And if I have to wait 2-5 years for their games to hit PC, than so be it.
@lundy86_4: I think he means are you seriously going to literally buy into highly overpriced hardware.
@R4gn4r0k: i just saw RDR playing on Xbone in 4k via backwards compatibility......if Sony would do this even just in 1080 I would buy it right now. Today is the first day in a long time I wish I had an Xbone. Just for one game lol. Bah! Rdr needs to comes to Switch.

I wish I had an Xbox One X lol, I have RDR on the Xbox One at the moment, but it's only 720/30 :(
