First Super Paper Mario review.

Gamespot is going to like it a lot more than they did from the previews go read them.  They are loving it.  If you guys were wondering why it got a 8.5 this pretty much sums it up...."The problem with Paper Mario is that there is a story" (from the review) basically all they wanted was a platforming and not to have interact with anything..... So basically this makes me even more pumped for the game if it got docked due to there preference of a no story mario game...

It's a magazine, so I can't read the review, but if that's the main complaint, I don't have a problem with it. What I want, though, is for the story to be as good as Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The idea of a Mario game having a good story may seem odd, but PM:TYD was hilarious.

I'm crossing my fingers that this game will have the same brilliant writing as the other two.

But, 8.5 is good.

Basically they wanted a straight up platformer of old like Super mario bros 3... etc.  I think they forgot why type of game it was actually supposed to be.

One review says 8.5.  That's a pretty good score, which means some other sites are probably going to rate the game high as well.

I hyped this game AA to be on the safe side.  I hope it makes AAA though.

Gamespot gave it a higher score then average for the past two Paper Mario games... and this mag took points away because it had a story and is not plain old platforming.

hmm...I just hope this game doesn't get Jeff Gerstmann'd.

Then he'll complain about the tacked on controls and give a mid AA or lower. Keep in mind that SPM was originally a GC game.
