Apparently it's still 1080p60. While the car models and shading look fantastic, the environments in Project Cars are usually pretty inconsistent even on the PC.
Still, if Project CARs can do 1080p60, I wonder what DriveClub is doing that it can't. My guess is the environments are far more detailed in DriveClub.
Also if you look at these things in their full size you can see some jaggied edges and whatnot, stuff that I usually don't see in PC screens. These came from the Playstation Blog on the Playstation Blog's Flickr account and the post was made by the Creative Director of the game. No reason to believe these aren't PS4 pictures.

1. the pc screens you see are massively downsized and sharpened in photoshop. to give you an idea of performance, at 4k resolution with no extra AA, 2 overclocked 780tis in sli averages 50 fps. heres some more benches
so keep those numbers in mind when you see people parading around their aliasing free screenshots, because even at 4k you need to do a lot more to get rid of the aliasing.
2. driveclub is running at 30 fps because its on a different level graphically. top notch lighting and global illumination, high quality AO, an order of magnitude more geometry, shadows that dont look like the edge of a saw etc. also aside aside from the car models(which look good in pcars too), the assets in general are a generation ahead in driveclub.
Then how come it looks worse? I like how you can view 2 or 3 trailers and come to provide an explanation as to why Drive Club is 30fps and that there is an "order of magnitude" more geometry. And no your link gives no evidence. You get 10fps when you're barraging GTA IV and Skyrim with mods. Anyone who has Drive Club now has an alpha build, designed to run as the dev intended.
only the staunchest pc fanboys would consider pcars better looking than driveclub. the same people that think ue3 games look better than anything on ps4 so no surprise. trailers? entire gameplay races have been posted on gameryde. the environments on offer are so many leagues beyond pcars. the trees also arent shoplifted straight from a ps2 game like they are in pcars.
one of you pcars fanatics should post some screens with a framerate counter.

im not talking about the screens in this thread, as ive already stated. you specifically mentioned the pc images youve seen before with zero aliasing. i assumed you meant the ones you find in screenshot threads on various forums. im referring to those.
The only thing I dislike is the "gloss" given to the finish of every single vehicle in modern racing games. If they are shooting for true realism this effect needs to be toned down, sure it makes for great car porn, but to me it removes a level of realism.
Still...im waiting for the game that makes me feel the need to drop monies on the PS4....maybe this could be it.
Same complaint. I noticed.this when they did the comparison of CARS vs real life. The game models are just way. way, way too shiny. Real life cars looked dull in comparison.
See there is so much emphasis placed on cutting edge graphics we have a situation whereby in game graphics are polished to the point where realism is lost. I would rather the unrealistic shine was toned down and replaced with a true to life representation, I think the lighting engines are primarily to blame.
When I drive my car sunshine doesn't cascade down the bodywork and glow so the people behind me feel they are watching a CGI movie. It gets covered in dirt from the road, flies. General grime, and thats what driving is no matter what you drive. Im not suggesting devs coat bugatti's in a realistic coat of bird shit on a coastal point to point but equally it would be nice to feel like the world has an impact on my "perfect" ride.

Looks great, looking forward to playing it On my Wii U that is, fyi, there was a poll of the game by the devs on which version people are more interested in, the Wii U won with Steam OS right behind it. So if you do actually like the game and interested, you better not be hypocrites and just flat out not buy it.
This game looks great, but every version I look up shows the exact same pictures. So there's no way to know which version we're really looking at here.
Regardless, I'm very impressed with what we've been shown so far.
