Final Fantasy XIV not on Xbone because MS refuse to allow cross platform play

Final Fantasy is dead in my eyes after than disgraceful XIII. The story sucked, the gameplay sucked, and the worst part about it was that the characters were the typical JRPG emo asshats that just makes you wanna cringe throughout the entire game.

I see MMOs being the true secret weapons of the PS4.

F2P high quality MMOs are becoming the norm now, and Sony is opening the gates for them on the PS4.

Games like FF14 & Planet Side 2 offer free AAA developed games at launch with a massive community attached.

Unless Microsoft changes their bull**** Live policies with MMOs, they will be ignoring a potential huge cash cow of next gen.

I played the beta on the ps3 and it's as boring as a mmo rpg can be. 

Xbox owners don't care about anything other then COD and Battlefield becauase if they did they would have dropped M$ a long time ago.

Remember when 360 ruined the ff franchise because they had to take out cities and stuff in FFXIII  Infinite_Access

and that would have made the game good? cities and stuff? the writing, characters, story, and gameplay would have remained the same.

I've been playing the PC beta and this is definitely the cleanest MMORPG to come out since WoW.  I had the Collector's Edition of the original FFXIV release and that was TERRIBLE!  The Realm Reborn, however, is a completely different story.

Well..  XBOX One is clearly not the place to go for the MMORPG genre. 

A shame. It's actually pretty solid now.

I've Identified 2 more types of morons in this thread.

1) Morons saying Final Fantasy is now irrelevant just because FFXIII was mediocre.... 

2) Morons spouting emo weeabo comments when FFXIV follows the traditional 1-6 formular.

I can't call people saying MMO's boring are morons... but damn recognize their supreme relevance, and they will become bigger on consoles now..... consoles, always a generation behind the trend.
