Great score for minna no golf the fact that the PS3 version still got a very strong online communit (Japanese version) makes me sure that this one will have an amazing online community in japan.
Dynasty Warriors Next gets 9 10 9 8? That's an average of 9/10. Do i really need to play it to know that it can't be that good?
Famitsu isn't credible. Games get extra points just for being japanese.

I second that... They overeact on japanese oriented titles and are harsh in too many occasions with western games... Dunno if this is in purpose or the reviewrs/writers are easterns...but this is happening...

They like their musou games. Better than any western reviewer crying about the game being too repetitive and just give it a low score without even trying to really play the game.
DW NEXT looks pretty awful though and this is from a fan. Though I prefer the numbered games.
Reminds of how Western reviewers overreact with Western games and are too harsh in many occasions with Japanese games.
Works both ways, just diverse your review sites. =)
There isn't any games I really really want from that list that makes me bend over and buy a Vita anytime soon. Wipeout 2048 and Gravity Daze (Rush) are the only things that have my interest but I can wait, I guess.

This is true. This is why Famitsu gave Skyrim a 40/40, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, L.A. Noire, Gears of War 3, and FIFA 12 near-perfect scores of 39/40 this year alone.

i agree with you i hear it a lot on sites like gamefaqs people saying on how the japanese hate western games and they overrated japanese games. with that said the vita has a pretty lackluster launch list but then all systems do

Their reviews for Western titles are generally in line with the average, if not higher. What Western game do you feel they underscored to such great degrees?

the avg score of a game published by SE > the avg score of any western game > the avg score of any Japanese game :D
