I'm going to start Iron Fist tonight to prep for Defenders. I'll have it on in the background as I play something on my Switch or Vita or do D&D campaign planning or something, and if I like it then I'll focus up. :P

And Bernthal was great. Those first four episodes in Season 2 of Daredevil are sooooo good because of him.

Yea, kinda reminded me of The Dark Knight, fallen hero with warped sense of justice, cover it up with a lie. Except while the Joker testing his limits is just plain "bad", Punisher has more of an ambiguity and is a creation of socaity as opposed to Harvey Dent's more trite example.

It's weird but it felt like Season 2 climaxed 4 episodes in. Electra sucks (atm).

Defenders looks fun, I like the Marvel tv shows tone more so than the movies for the most part, although Thors latest trailers really get the hype buds going.

@getyeryayasout: I can bet! I only started listening to Bob Dylan in my early 20's/late teens. I am too young to have seen him at his prime. His voice has changed quite drastically on his newest records, having more of a Louis Armstrong husk (probably due to smoking and no vocal training).

All the same, he still knows his way around a good song. :)

@getyeryayasout: I haven't really sat down to properly give his newer releases a listen since Tempest, which I enjoyed. I understand he has released a record of covers largely consisting of songs popularized by Frank Sinatra. Actually, I think it has a fair few tracks from Sinatra's Where are You? Maybe I'll pop that in my ears at some point today and see how it is. :)

Arcade Fire did a pretty bold thing and responded to Stereogum's premature evaluation of their latest album by making making a mock website (Stereoyum) and posting their own satirical review. Internet really breaks down walls, huh; not that artists didn't respond to their critics before but it's more direct and public dialogue.

Sonic Mania just turned me into a kid again. I haven't felt this way since S3&K and I actually almost teared up seeing blue sphere again.

Yeah, on episode 5. It's meh so far.

Daredevil was by far the best, and Jessica Jones kinda dulled me. Iron Fist ruined me, so it's gonna take some serious motivation to get me into Defenders. I'mma need a weekend with nothing to do lol.
