E3 2018: Microsoft Conference Thread

There are rumors about a MS/Nintendo partnership. Would be a historic moment if true.

The only reason why i care about microsofts e3 is because i can play all the games at better graphics and performance on my pc

If its true that they got Bungie to make Halo again it would be the smartest thing MS has done all gen. I've said before the fall of the Xbox brand started when they let Bungie get away and 343 ran Halo into the ground.

343 may be talented enough to work on a new IP or different IP but they've been a disaster on Halo.

I'm hyped. I can assume it will mostly be 3P reveals alongside its core 1P IP(Maybe a surprise from a dormant IP).

I want new IP outside of MS Core, i know thats not happening now but at least would like some news on studios and progress mentioned at this E3.

Finally just pumped to see some new games from MS and 3P and enjoy all the info. As Gamespot mentioned, 15 world premiere could mean anything from a game mode, service, game etc...

Apparently, there was a page on Square-Enix's website for Nier Automata for XBox. It was digital-only, but still good to see that it's coming to our Lembros. The page may have been taken down because it was supposed to be announced at the show.

Honestly. I think the time for chicken-or-the-egg is over. As long as XBox has games, even games that aren't stereotypical to the platform, they can grow and prosper. It worked great for the 360. It can be done again. It's a new day.

Come on MS. At least have some 1st party IPs this time.

Honestly all most of all us big Xbox fans that have been disenchanted as of late really want to see is some sort of road map. And if games are going everywhere show us why to buy your console.

And honestly if they announced X is the way to move forward and support of the OG one and S will be ending I won't even be mad.

I wasn't in the SW during that time, if you are referring to the PS3/360 timeframe. I was a General Game Discussion forumer until that forum died. But if it was that timeframe, didn't the 360 had a boatload of indie games? I can't recall playing any indie games on the PS3.

Don't you remember that Microsoft was pushing the indie scene on the Xbox 360 long before Sony starting pushing the indie scene? In fact, I remember PS3 owners trying to say that the great indie and smaller budget games on Xbox Live Arcade did not count when Xbox 360 owners used to praise them.

One of the things that I loved the most about the Xbox 360 was how hard they pushed indie games and smaller budget games on Xbox Live Arcade. I would love to see Microsoft start pushing those kind of games hard again. My favorite game on the Xbox One is an indie game that Microsoft helped fund and market (Cuphead).

Alright NOW I am hyped. Phil speaking at the Fan Fest addressed one of my big concerns. Today's show will DEFINITELY BE about a LONG TERM VISION in terms of XBoxes first party. HYPED!!!!!!!!!!! That is what I am muh fuckin talking about!! My hype train is now fueled and departing to Planet X.
