Do you like Infinite Warfare?

I have a ton of games to play at the moment but decided to sit down today and play some good ol' COD. Overall, it's still a pretty fun game. Haven't had a chance to do single player yet. What are your thoughts on this game, SW? Do you still enjoy it?

Single player campaign was decent. Certainly better than BO3. Never touched the MP as I do not care for COD MP.

I decided to skip it. I usually only get Treyarch anyways.

It's not that great compared to COD 2 and most others. I am going to finish it (got it for Xbox One S), but it's just not very good. I don't like how they implemented a Destiny like map to access missions either. It feels kinda like Halo. I love Halo, but I play Halo to play Halo. I play COD to play COD.

I only want to play the SP which means I'll wait until I see it available for $20 or less digitally before I even bother. That's probably going to be a couple years before that happens. I feel people are way too excited for the COD4:MW remaster, it was good in its time but it really wasn't as divine as people make it out to be.

I enjoyed the campaign immensely, my favorite since COD4. Multiplayer was total garbage and I could only tolerate it for 5 minutes, I hate COD MP.

No, I'm sick and tired of the futuristic setting. It's time for them to go back to World War 2.

Is it free? Maybe then I'd play it.

Played it flat out first two weeks. Havent touched it since. The desire to go back and play has long been lost for CoD, ever since Advanced. Ill probably only play double xp weekends. I even don't play the remaster COD4. It was nice for a few hours, but once the member berries worn off it got boring. I suppose with COD being average this year, gives me a even better reason to finish the backlog

@aigis: i love BO3 shockingly enough it was one of the most full packaged games of the year. its not for everyone though.

Bought the Legacy edition to play MWR, prestiged once. Ended spending countless of hours in Zombies.

I can't even play it without reducing the polling rate on my mouse to 125 Hz due to some bug that makes the mouse lag at high polling rates (really bad at 1000 Hz). Even then it's still pretty janky. I played about 30 minutes of the campaign before giving up in frustration, though I think I would have liked it if it had worked.

If anyone knows a fix for the mouse lag bug, please tell me here or pm me. I can't find crap on the internet other than "turn mouse acceleration off", which I tried, or "live with it", which is unacceptable. I suspect it will have to be patched, though.

I prefer Titanfall 2.

I skipped it, i want another ww2 cod. I will buy mwr when they eventually sell it on its own though.

Yes. I always skip infinity ward COD but got it for $40.

Multiplayer is so tough I don't know why I suck so bad. I could keep a 1.0 k/d on black ops but on infinite warfare it's like 0.6.

I'm actually offended infinite warefare and advanced warefare copied zombies. I liked how ghost did aliens, that was fun. I love black ops zombies though.

Story mode is as good as maybe the Attack on London movie. You'll watch/play because of the genre but you know it isn't no classic. The graphics are amazing in cutscene, can't doubt that.

The way you have to aim, I feel that in black ops you can sway bullets like you don't have to be completely on target just sway the crosshair by the enemy. Not IW, you have to keep the crosshair on the target. You don't shoot where the enemy is moving, If they move right you don't shoot where you think they will be like in black ops.

I thought what's the point of buying the new COD when I already have ghost and black ops. IW plays different because of the aiming, new guns, some new perks and specialists.

I don't like the space age setting.I much prefer Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 for my First Person Shooter fix.I don't think I'll ever go back to Call of Duty till they revamp the series from the ground up?

@aigis: you asked who liked COD IW, I replied I do, the best at the top of my list ? no, will I purchase the next COD, of course ! I like COD.

@raugutcon: maybe I didnt phrase it correctly, but I was asking if anyone really liked it, top of the list like. If people didnt like them they wouldnt have it annually

I enjoy it not as much as BO3 but it's still a fun game, can't go wrong with the COD formula. I basically have the same complaints I have with every infinity ward COD. Richocet sucks and IW has always sucked with score/kill streaks.

I hope the next COD sledgehammer does their Advanced Warfare 2 or something. Then when TreyArch is up for their COD we get World At War 2 with a remaster of World at War! I just feel if Activision lets Sledgehammer go back to WWI or II setting it will fail so just let them do Advanced Warfare 2 then treyarch can release their master piece.

Meh, not a COD fan...

I felt it was a choice between Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, and COD IW. I chose Titanfall 2 and don't regret it. I already have and enjoy BLOPS3. The multiplayer does not seem great but I would buy IW used or at a steep discount to play the campaign and Zombies. I'm ok with waiting for BLOPS4 though.

Treyarch generally does a better job, so they would be best suited for it if they went back to WW2 or whatever.

I am enamored with BF1, though, so even if they did, I doubt I would check it out. :P

I played the beta for IW and hated it. Titanfall 2 has given me a great COD-style shooter and it even does things better then the last few COD games, so that is my main FPS game this year, although I also got Battlefield 1.

Its a shame EA released Titanfall 2 between two juggernauts of the genre. If they had put it out in Spring of 2017, I think it would have stood out more. Right now, its simply another game in a crowded holiday season.

But that said, Titanfall 2 is pretty much the last few COD games, only better and with mechs. I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot more then I did BO III.

@DragonfireXZ95: Battlefield 1 is great I just hate how you have to browser search for Hardcore game types and most of them are empty.

If you could just go to quick match and toggle between core and hardcore more people would play hardcore cause it would be easier to get into. I've always hated Battlefields minimalist approach to hardcore and that's why I usually pass on Battlefield. Spongy enemies and hit markers galore sucks and Battlefield 1 is full of that nonsense ??

I'd rather take the sponge. This way, I have a chance if I get shot at from behind instead of just dying instantly. Sometimes I don't mind that, and Squad(the video game) can be fun even with it, but dying before you even get a chance to react usually gets on my nerves. I have pretty quick reflexes, so I can usually outgun a guy who might be shooting at me first. :P

No I haven't play COD IW yet I think I will wait until it comes down in price before I take the plunge.

i thought the single player was great, best we've seen since mw2 honestly. infinity ward did one hell of a job with the campaign overall. the mp however i hated initially. i'm finally starting to get into it however after owning the game for a month or so. its solid enough and fun in short bursts if you ignore the typical cod bullshit.

thats not saying much. Modern warfare actually started more and more of handholding SP games.

and this game is no different.

The campaign is awesome. One of the better COD campaigns imo. Much better than BO3's campaign which bored me. Haven't dived much into multiplayer but seems like the same run of the mill COD gameplay which is disappointing but not unexpected.
