"The patch appears to affect both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Skyrim."I don't think the patch has been out as long for PC - people on Reddit's Skyrim section recommending not updating till it's confirmed. If it's affecting both the PS3 and 360, I see no reason why it won't affect the PC either :[But teh plugz and playz :P

I was just being a proper system warrior ;) Unfortunately, I don't get a choice since Steam automatically updated earlier. Don't even have a character in a position to test things due to school etc...
Edit: Besides, consolites do seem to think issues like this are PC exclusive.
dl'd it this morning and didn't notice anything unusual.
some blood dragon that i had never seen before caught me out in the open and it flew fine and my resistances were fine as i fought it.
it bugs me you don't get patch notes as to what it does like you do almost everytime you dl a pc patch.
Patch has been taken down already. Couldn't even download it now if you wanted to. Great job, Bethesda. The patch did more harm than good. I really wanted to play this again, but I guess I'm gonna have to do the same thing I did with Fallout: New Vegas: Not play it for several months, then hopefully the game will be without serious issues by then.
Only Skyrim fans can some how manage to turn a clear negative issue of the game into some twisted positive . Got to hand it to Skyrim fanboys.I guess that's what blind worship fanboyism is all about! Its amazing how Bethesda gets so many free passes to release so many broken gamesDynamic dragons are not a bug, bro. They're a feature.

Your sarcasm detector is in severe need of maintenance, bro.

Not really. However stuff like the new sound card that trashed my SLI setup so badly that I had to reinstall Windows... that never seems to happen on my PS3. (Disclaimers that are sadly required here: yes, I checked card seating and bridge seating, yes, I tried a clean install of Nvidia's drivers, yes, I have good hardware from reputable manufacturers, and no, I am not making up how I spent last evening because it's convenient for my argument. I would have been accused of all of these, at a minimum, so let's get them out of the way now.)Bethesda takes pride in releasing games in alpha testing stages

Histerically true LOL. I mean, wtf. If their game wasn't so bugged, I'd have it already but NO, they have to release crap yet again.

Personally, I rarely have any issues between my Asus G74SX and my I7-920/GTX460SLI rig, but I'm sure we'll agree that PCs do benefit hugely from intimitate knowledge and that it's absolutely required to a degree.
Especially drivers, is a topic that is much too convoluted for your average person.
Hell, a guy from my class started out knowing Java but had no idea how to install Windows, it's amazing how many of the "basics" are completely lost on people and sufficiently user-friendly, interactive tutorials simply don't exist...
I consider the troubleshooting something you learn to love, but (hopefully) having a future career in the (non-gaming) industry ahead of me, I'm probably biased ;)
Like me.....I was thinking about those people that bought Skyrim and don't have online connectivity...

Quite the opposite in my case. A career in IT is now why I hate troubleshooting and what drove me to prefer consoles.Wow, Bethesda. Get your s*** together. Ever since Oblivion, I have waited at least one year from release to buy their games. Waited a year for Fallout 3 and New Vegas and it looks like I'll be doing the same for Skyrim.AcidSoldner
What do you mean ever since Oblivion? Their games were always buggy/broken.
