Yeah, enjoyed The Evil Within. Love this kind of Survival Horror games with limited ammo, Various powerful weapon unlockables and weapon/stats upgrades as RE.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the first game and definitely plan on picking up this sequel.

I did and no, not buying TEW2 right now. I've plenty to play still (Persona 5 on hold and still finishing ME:A). I'll definitely pick it up later at a sale. Looks pretty good from what I've seen. Still skeptic since Mikami isnt directing this, but we'll see

I hate the first game. its controlling suck and it was horribly optimize however 2 looks lot better and im kinda interested in it.

The first one was not that good. The gameplay lacked up to date gameplay and the story and graphics were not okay. At the end they gave up on the Surivial horror gameplay and theme and wait to straight combat/action mode.

Never played the first, but I may in the future. If I like it, I'll pick up the sequel.

More i look at Evil Within 2 the more i conclude that it's what the first one should have been.....shame it wasn't. Don't think many took the first game seriously.

I also no longer support bethesda.They are on my shit list along with WB,ubisoft,EA,activision and 2k games.

I waited forever for a GOTY edition on the first one but it never came. Since it's cheap enough now I'll pick it up and give it a go. By the time I get around to it Part 2 should be cheap.

TEW series are developed by Tango Gameworks (Shinji Mikami). Why should it bother you its being published by Bethseda?

Absolutely loved the first half of TEW. Really intriguing story and the horror elements were excellently done. The story kind of crapped its pants and it the gameplay lost its way in the last third, but I couldn't stay too mad at it. I'll probably get TEW2 in a few months when prices go down slightly.

Even though I never completed the first game I will buy the Evil Within 2 in two days.

Not enough to get EW2 without it getting superb reviews. If it does, I'll check it out. I'm still waiting for a worthy sequel to RE4. :P

At least Bethesda still has some good games, so you're missing out a bit there. Don't tell me your grudge made you ignore DOOM? :(

I've heard Mikami himself isn't involved with the development of #2. True? A bit lame if true, I'd say..

The first one was drab and aimless, stupid attempts at jump scares and a half assed excuse for a plot. Oh and crap graphics and combat too. I wasn't a fan, maybe the sequel will be better though I won't touch it till I see what reaction it gets from reviews and players.

Currently at 80 Metacritic score, only 10 reviews though.....pretty good for this kind of game. I'm simply curious, makes no difference to me in the end my copy is fully paid for and looking forward to playing it later

I really liked it, but i'm not sure if i'll get 2. Something about it being like an open world game doesn't interest me that much.

It takes courage for a man to admit his fears, so all good. I'll say, there is big difference in playing a horror game with Headphones I found. I was terrified while playing Outlast like that, I honestly jumped from my couch and even screamed a few times(you don't have weapons in that game, so it felt more scary to me). Very disturbing game

Nah, felt extremely outdated, unless Evil Within 2 improves a lot I doubt I will pick it up.

I never played the original. Watch a bit of a stream the other night for part 2. Seemed like TLoU, but with a supernatural twist. What I saw looked good, but at the same time, while there is a fair few horror games I've played (and the ones I have, I've enjoyed), the genera as a whole has never been particularly high on my list.

I'm curious about it, played maybe 5 hours of the first one and thought it was decent

IGN put up an Evil Within 1 video recap that is 5 min long(obviously big spoilers if you have not played the first game).....going to watch this later, been a while I played the game a refresher would be nice

8 means amazing game. throughout the history GS always gave 8 to amazing games but 9 and 10s to overrated games.

beside Steam reviews are positive this time around compare to original game. this game seem heavily improve upon original game.

RE4 was trash. it was very overrated, bad controlling, bad combat, bad story and characters (like saving president daughter).

RE7 was much better

this however looks better than RE4 ever been.

I got the first one for £3 on amazon so I will wait. Not even tried it yet but thought it was a bargain at that price. I daren't try it though as it is a Bethesda Softworks game and probably full of bugs.
