Very impressive especially when you consider how unoptimized this game was.
it used to be broken , not anymore

You have liberated him/her from their ignorance.
Ignorance about what lol? I own the game and know how shit it used to be on PC hence the reason I said "how unoptimized this game was"

Don't be angry because someone educated you on the status of a game. He was very kind with informing you on the current state of the game.

Don't be upset you can't read clown.
Framerate wise, it's lot more stable then on release and runs very smoothly. Runs fine on my 1070 with zero problems just two weeks ago when I reinstall it, it's a good game but I feel like Origins and City were more fun only because those games don't force you into the Batmobile.
Though I gotta say, my previous 970 was and still a good GPU but the 1070 is were it's at.
The thing with these lower end cards is that they aren't made for higher resolutions, the memory bandwidth just isn't there, even if 970 had the same tflops as 980ti the 980ti would still smoke 970 on 4k
Kind of pointless playing it at 4K/30fps. I would rather play at 1080p/60fps with that 970. 4K is not worth it unless you are able to run it at 60fps.
Same here, but at least there's the option of doing so for those people who dont care about fps
Wow! awesome! Need to get back at it again.

To be fair, he did say "was"
Unfortunately it's by far the worst in the series. The Batmobile parts are probably the worst gameplay sections in an AAA title ever, like a terrible early access indie game.

I know. ;)
30 fps is crap for a game like this. The game looks great at 1080p and you can get 60-80 fps easily on a 970 with it, i get around 60-80fps with some SMAA antialiasing on with my 970. And actually i'm getting a good framerate since im a bit over the regular 1920x1080 since im running it 2560x1080 21:9.
Unless you like taking crisp screenshots i don't know why'd you want to suffer at 30 fps in a game like this, all the driving parts would be just awful at this framerate. Even having dips of 40-50 fps can end up hurting your gameplay in this game.
970gtx is a 1080p gpu, don't try to run clunky games like Arkham Knight on it at 4k it makes no sense.

For Batman: Arkham Knight, GTX 970 can reach 4K ~31 fps average.
Scorpio's GPU solution is faster than R9-390X.

It still is.
I was playing it on 1070, couldn't keep stable framerate at all, whenever I was in Batmobile or gliding around.

Average means nothing, the game could run 50% of the time on 10 fps and 50% of the time on 50 fps. still average at 30 fps. but it plays like garbage.
We need to see minimums. and if the average is 34, its way below 30 fps at times.
I bought the game, stuttered everywhere and refunded it directly.

That's not correct. The minimum is ~22 fps prior to Pascal era.
Batman: Arkham Knight was bundled with my GTX 980 Ti.
I got it Normal HD at 30fps on a GTX 750 Ti from day one. I don't think it supposed to work, they act like the card isn't supported.
That's cool you got it at 4K on a GTX 970. If you hadn't told me that, I wouldn't have imagined it possible.

30 FPS really isn't that bad sitting on a couch with a controller.
too bad the game is s*****
the batmobile ruined the game
1) No it isn't
2) No it didn't

Resolution not being the only graphical factor, I wonder what most people here would prefer;
4K with Medium settings (possibly needing some at Low)
or
1080 with Ultra settings (or even High/Ultra)
and frame rate variable either way.

In general, ultra settings has diminished visual quality gain with disproportionate GPU usage increase..
Scorpio's Forza Motorsport 6 has XBO settings and 4K/higher quality textures.
Richard noted that Scorpio's FM6 has dynamic weather on, which is not available on FM6 so its likely that FM7 will have dynamic weather. FH3 has dynamic weather.
