all i know is i hate ps4's download speeds for games literally takes hours to download this game my download rate is so damn slow wouldn't let me download anything until it unlocked.

Sony might need to start charging Cows more money so can get half the speed of Steam.
regardless, even the XB1 has a much better network and it still came to a crawl, I suspect, because everyone was trying to download this game at once
it would be nice to pre-order so I could download early and avoid this, but I don't because for some stupid reason XBL Rewards refuses to count pre-order games toward rewards, it's a $6 rebate I'd be throwing away
I was gonna play this bad boy that is Destiny 2 on PC anyways. Since I don't have a Pro, looks like I made right choose keeping my launch PS4 was a good thing :)

They were, until they decided to change hardware mid-gen, just like often PC works... well, I guess consoles are more and more like PC's wich makes one question: Why even support consoles anymore? The easy "plug and play" were a main drive to opt for consoles years ago. Now with constant huge a** patches, updates, DLC, microtransactions, un-optimized games, etc, etc, consoles are trully loosing their identity

It's quite funny at the same time as PC launches are way better than what they used to be, don't really see train wrecks like Total War Rome 2 these days while back then consoles had very little issues PS2->PS3->PS4 has gotten gradually worse, in terms of hardware durability and software
The game was already downloaded when I launched it last night, so that was a lie. Also, it'd work the same on all Pro's since all are exactly the same hardware and have the exact same updates. That's the advantage consoles have over PC. I smell bologna in this thread.
@joshrmeyer: The X1 and vanilla PS4 aren't even having these issues though. Hell when the PS4 Pro launched it ran some games WORSE than their OG PS4 counterpart.
@primorandomguy: Yup, one of the few reasons I don't own a Pro. I'd expect the same to happen to X1X. New systems generally have more problems then established systems. I'm glad your hyped for X1X since you have over 200 games for it and friends on that system. What I don't get is the bash on Pro when it's basically the same thing but not quite as powerful. There's no argue anywhere that it's better hardware than the Pro... As it should be being $100+ more and a year newer. Did you call the Xbox One garbage when it released along side PS4 which was noticably more powerful in the beginning?
Looks like it's a Bungie's problem, not a Pro problem. And also, i don't see it's massive problem. Very little posts about that on bungie's forum
