Hmm From Software vs BioWare. I'll have to go with Dragon Age on this. Plus I prefer story driven RPGs any ways. I plan to pick up both titles most likely though.
Dragon Age looks like it'll be better. It's a Bioware game after all. That, and Demon's Souls seems too hard for it's own good. Silent-Hal
True but Dragon age might suffer from the fact it has no multiplayer even in player made modes. And I have no idea how the port to consoles will work considering it's a mouse clicking game like BG2 and NWN..

*sigh* No multiplayer in a Bioware game is a good thing. The control layout is fine, they have it on their site.

Not all games need multiplayer this game will be fine without it bioware knows what they are doing.
you cant even compare these two games. Totally different gameplay styles.

Both are Dark RPG fantasy's sure you can.
But with different RPG elements. Demon souls looks more closed ended while Dragon age is more open ended. This game is more comparable to games like the witcher or oblivion. Can you even make choices in Demon Souls?
Demon's Souls won me over. The gameplay seems like a lot more fun for me and I'm up for the challenge. DA:O seems like a game I'd enjoy on a PC but hate on a console.

Well, I already have Demon's Souls and it is my favorite game of the year right now by far. However, I am expecting to like Dragon Age more in terms of the overall package. It is my most anticipated game right now. Still, Demon's Souls is easily the best RPG I have played this gen so far. I just think Dragon Age will easily have the better story and will have the overall better production value.

You can't be serious? DragonForce was inspired by gaming music and their lyrics have taken from the dark ages. They're not even original as far as their gimmick and its aesthetics go. No offense, are they the first hard rock/metal band you've heard/seen or what? DragonForce came up with none of this.

Give Demon's soul a chance, it will come into your life and reward you with a great feeling when you finally defeat that one boss, I actually sweat before a boss. Dragon age will be a great repetition of former RPGs, great, but repetition none the less, and Demon's Souls is a new experience, which you will enjoy every minute of and difficultie is just a empowering feature to this great feeling of defeting a level. And to qoute some random person of internet :P : " You can learn to love Demon's Souls like none other game in the world, but only if you give yourself to it fully ".
I'd say Dragon Age. The modding tools will kill Demon Soul for the simple reason that even IF the main game is horrible for Dragon Age then the modding community will make campaigns worth playing.

Dragon Age Origins: It has the potential to be the most complex and deep RPG of this gen. I think this game will finally take The Witcher's crown.

First newgame about 30+ hours but the game got 2 ending so at least you got to end it twice but I finished it 5 times 180 hours playtime every newgame + the game becomes harder and it got 712 levels Iam still al level 240 and seems there is a closed area in the japanese version called the land of the giants guess it will be opened when the US version released later as a DLC.

DOA is 80-100 for each origin depending if you so the sidequests. Each Origin is not a cheap lie that are slightly different from one another btw.
