I disagree with that. People say popular games are bad all the time. Some people have different tastes than others. I think it is a bit strange that so many people like games with poor RPG elements, nonexistent AI, repetitive gameplay, tons of grinding, poor graphics, platforming segments without the ability to jump or grab ledges, and ghost images of other players showing you exploits. The games do difficulty very well, and a few of the levels are designed very well. It's just that other difficult games exist that are actually fun to play, so these games feel lacking to me. I can't help but think they might actually be fun if the game would just remove all of the RPG elements. Just give me a mid-level character that can actually use the gear without spending hours grinding for souls and stones from the start and lock the stats.

Was hard for me to play them after it, i would be like, dang these games suck. Thank goodness i played Shadows of Colossus before Dark Souls.
Dark Souls aint for everybody at first I didn't think it was for me either. It took a while to get over the learning curve. I've finished some of the hardest games ever made specifically on the NES. Dark Souls don't even come close to Ninja Gaiden or Castlevanias difficulty. I love the art design and how multiplayer is build into the game. I just wish it had better graphics.
