Well, in that clip, there seems to be some downgrade, like the part with the lady. But overall, still looks fantastic. I'll probably upgrade my 2070S just for this title alone.

The game has insane amount of budget so it wont be downgrade. even a game that has very very little budget like Metro Exodus didnot downgrade.

I hold every dev accountable for their lies it seems like you don't also the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is more ambitious makes it more likely they will downgrade it not the opposite. I been looking forward to this game since it's first teaser trailer in 2013 so I really hope they don't downgrade the PC version but I'm cautious with all these delays for "polishing bugs" we will have to wait and see if they are truthful this time around.

LOL at calling me CDPR fanboy when i am one of few user in this board who criticize CDPR gameplay design. if this game was third person. i had no interest but the fact that it resemble Deus Ex 1 my fav game of all time make me interested.

and point is, CDPR of today is different than CDPR of 8 years ago. fact is every footage they show improvement over previous footage. they even improved gunplay and driving according to peoples who get hands on.

Well they haven’t shown the console version yet. Judging by the hardware being used at the press preview event, the consoles will run the game at 480p/20fps on lower than low settings.

Honestly I really don’t get fussed over any downgrades myself. Got The Witcher 3 on Xbox One and thought it looked great so that was good enough for me. Same with Watch Dogs. I know they get criticized for their downgrades but I was happy enough with them.

Remember when people complained about The Witcher 3's graphical downgrade? Remember when Witcher 3 became one of the best games of the decade? Graphics aren't everything you guys and as long as the game is fun to play, graphics is an afterthought. After looking at the recent gameplay, the graphics look great in my opinion, and there's more to a great game than graphics.

Cyberpunk 2077 is still going to look awesome on PC and possibly for PS5/Xbox Series X and for current-gen, not so much.

It definitely looks amazing, but down ride that "upgrade" train just yet.

At the press event even the console press played the game with a high end CPU and a 2080 Ti.

This is not a game you will want to play on current gen consoles, including Pro and X. It really, really isn't. If you want to play this day one you better have a beast of a PC or buy a next gen console when the game launches.

That's assuming that CDPR have backtracked on their earlier announcements that they wouldn't be working on enhanced versions of the game for next gen consoles.

Anyway, play this game on current gen consoles and congrats, you've massively downgraded the game all by yourself.

That LOD pop in and draw distance is just atrocious and that's the fault of the game engine, because you can bet your ass the demo ran on an nvme SSD. Even the magical PS5 SSD will not fix this shit.

End part looks like a downgrade. Looks more flat and less lighting.

Car interior also looks less complex but could just be one of the npc's cars.

If you're rocking an RTX card, the game supports DLSS 2.0, so it should runner butter smooth, even on the RTX 2060.

I never buy any game this big (content/complexity wise) on day 1. Almost certainly going to be huge patches first 1 months that make the initial experience far better. Or insane QOL mods.
