Cyberpunk Delayed

It’s only two months people. Why all the hysterics? Seriously some people really think that scraping years of work and on systems with like around 150 million users is a rational thing to do. Same with people wanting to sue Microsoft and CDPR just because people preordered a system and game that’s releasing a mere two months later. If you’re buying a custom Xbox One X with Cyberpunk 2077 you really shouldn’t feel bad about a two month delay. If you were that conflicted between that and a next gen system then you should have shown just a smidgen of self restraint and waited out those two simple months.

Some of you gamers are just so impatience! Its only been delay till November, just 2 freaking months from September, really just 2 months people. I always support developers delaying a game if they need more time with and if it means getting 99.9% done, then so beat it. You all have butt loads of other games to play, so go play something else for the time being.

I already pre-order over at GoG and don't need to think about it until it releases :)

Yeah as I said I don't care at all about the delay, as long as it releases on the One X. I think a lot of people are just concerned about the new date that correlates with the release of Series X.

@Archangel3371: I think the hype for this has gotten out of control. It'll come when it's ready, and will be better for the delay. Devs release games too soon and too buggy all the time - it seems to me that LAST thing we should do is flip out at a dev when they say "we need more time, trust us"

This doesn't bother me. More time to check out the 3080, and see if it's a viable upgrade. CDPR wouldn't just delay for shits and giggles.

I wish more devs would delay games instead of releasing buggy, unfinished crap. Bravo cdp. This game will be an experience.

They say they have something planned June 25th, "Night City Wire", and say press has early access to it. Despite disappointing news, at least we will get to see how it is shaping up, I hope.

It will run on both. If you buy one copy of the game you can put it on either console.

Looking forward to playing it but I can wait till the XSX launches. They need to take as much time as they need to.

Still man this is the second delay it's getting ridiculous I'm sick of these companies not being able to keep a release date. I think people have been patient enough the first Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer was way back in 2013.They better not pull that shit like they did with the Witcher 3 and downgrade the PC version for console parity. I bet anything that current gen consoles are holding back the release of this game.

Making video games is difficult enough and with there being this whole Covid-19 pandemic this just being the second delay and only two months seems pretty darn reasonable to me. 🤷‍♂️

Just make them run at even lower res. 6xxp on xbox and 768p on PS4. They already mentioned they were running a titan and 32gb ram for the gameplay trailers, current gen gamers wouldn't probably expect much.

The big rumor circulating is that Google Stadia version wouldn't be ready by September and that caused the delay.

Doesn't really matter to me, it comes out when it comes out. I've long since given up on games actually coming out at their release dates anyway and I always, always support developers when they need more time and unlike other developers who likes to bull rush their games on release day with no testing whats-so-ever.

Dude, it is so rare to see a gaming developer to NOT rush a release game fill with bugs and game development isn't easy as any gamer here thinks. Nobody said developing Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be this easy and I fully support CDPR and if they need just more time, then so beat it. PC isn't starving for games anyway and we have tons of games to play.

As for Witcher 3's downgrade. I was still amaze how it look on PC and still beautiful game despite the downgrade, it still deliver.

Sony is very preserved and wouldn't allow that until some kind of miracle would happen anyway
