Crysis Remastered kinda looks like Crysis Vanilla PC version. Delayed for a few weeks.

Probably just gonna be well-optimized for the PC.

This has got to be only for current gen. It looks disappointing. Gears and last of us look better.

Those foliage look much lower quality than the first reveal trailer.

This looks fugly. Finally, we have reached a time when Crysis is below not-so-impressive-looking.

Am I the only one who doubts this is the version with Raytracing? It's gotta be just for current gen. Didn't they already mention it's gonna have raytracing?

@rzxv04: Ray tracing could be a number of things. The screenshots are probably the console versions, but I'm not hoping that the PC version would look any different lol.

Wouldn’t mind trying this game out myself. May pick up the Xbox One version.

It says captured on PC. It's still kinda blurry though. Here's hoping it looks much, much sharper on a mid-range pc. :( :( :(

Looks really dated, but honestly at this point I'm surprised Crytek isn't just dead so I guess it's better than nothing.

And this is why i prefer remake over remastered.

Crysis remake would improved its second half. remastered is just same game with update visual sell again.

I don't care if the graphics haven't improved much, I just want it to be optimized well.

Because it's not. It's a game that came out in 2007, and no amount of added visual flair can change the fact that the entire game was developed over a decade ago.

Doesn't even look better than modded Crysis but then again the video quality is extremely low.

Still my money would be on better CPU aka multi-core utilization, dynamic lighting and 4K textures. That's it.

Not really. Actually it looks cartoony compared to the original. The vanilla PC version still looks more realistic, at least according to these early comparison screens. First one is remaster. Second... original.

Don't know why everyone was getting hyped for it so much. Nintendo Switch logo was already a red flag. It was targeted for lowest common denominator. Besides, Crytek ain't even same company anymore. Talented folks left the company years ago. The only good thing we can expect from it is better optimization and optional/tacked on Ray Tracing.

After Warhead Crytek has been trash ever since.

Although we still haven't seen any quality screenshots, it is not looking good. This looks to be a half-assed cash grab and nothing more. At least the PC version can be modded to look better just like the original.

Or in 2010, at the time of Metro 2033s release we were comparing to to FFVII or Tekken 2 on PS1.

No, it is actually a good game. You can approach situations in different ways and the nano suit powers mix up the gameplay. The original game still holds up well after all these years.

I hope this is free because with all the shit hermits and lemmings have complain about sony remaking games this shit should be free to everyone who own crysis.
