PS4 has more than twice the confirmed exclusives. You could use the "quality over quantity" argument, but I see a healthy chunk of quality titles on the PS4 side.

The problem isn't weather PS4 will eventually get good games or not, obviously they will, the problem is when they're actually going to be released. I don't want to buy a system with the intention of playing it in a year when better games are out for it. When Sony actually has these exclusives ready to go then that's the time to buy.
Same thing can be said with MS but their launch lineup is somewhat decent. The only question is weather they'll continue throughout the life cycle. They're going to have to since they won't have the advantage of a cheaper system right away and people won't be flocking to the XB1 to play Call of Duty like they did with the 360.
Old,, but hilarious. https://securecdn.disqus.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/563/981/original.jpg
If it weren't for Sony's amazing first-party talent, PC would be my only source of gaming.
@PinkiePirate: The difference is most of the XB1 exclusives are coming out in the next year, most of the PS4 exclusives will end up getting delayed or even canceled and some aren't even being released in NA. So you're comparing the XB1's 2013-2014 lineup to the PS4's 2013-2016 lineup with games that aren't even coming to NA. GG

Some of these PS4 exclusives...
"Dream Club Host Girls on Stage"
"Nikoli No Puzzle 4 Sudoku"
"the Playroom"
"the Playroom" That sounds like a legit PS4 exclusive, that would be like someone counting Animal Crossing Plaza for Wii U.
Huh, there's 4 XB1 exclusives I'd like to play but only 3 PS4 exclusives I want. Surprising.
The PS4 side has the quantity, all filler no killer.

Agreed, there's maybe 4 games on that list that I'd play. I remember all throughout the PS3 that cows would literally hype every exclusive as a Triple A game, even crap titles like Lair and Haze.

When we look at what PC will be getting in the coming years I have almost no interest to get either console apart from a few exclusives.
Microsoft and Sony really need to step it up. In other words: stop wasting money on timed exclusivity and exclusive DLC and actually MAKE exclusives.
The Xbox One wins by far. The Xbox exclusives are great and world famous games, Yes the PS4 might have more exclusives but half of them are un-heard games that are terrible and bad overall. I dislike the PS4 exclusives, and strongly love the Xbone ones by far.
Tons of multiplats, and games that won't be released outside of Japan such as Yakuza Ishin.
Pretty much.
Xbox One has the more interesting line-up.

Haze was hyped to beat Halo 3, show many anyone who isn't a fakeboy or a troll hyping KI or Ryse to be massive AAA Titles.
Thats cool, release dates for those titles? Everything 12 days from now to years from now?
And still is more games,is not like the xbox one will get games out of no where and release in a glimpse of an eye.

That is a sad nothing maybe you should check how many games will release for PS4 and xbox one by the end of the year, maybe you will see the PS4 got more, the whole notion that the xbox one has more games is silly it doesn't the PS4 will have some 34 games by the end of the years far more than MS.

Such bullsh** and non sense what do you have for next year Titanfall which is also on PC.?
I love how you people like to count Titanfall even that it is multiplatform yet there are several PS4 games on launch that are on PC will be on PS4 but not on xbox one,it make you people arguments look desperate.

How is Killer Instinct crap? Even under Double Helix, at least Ken Lobb is involved with it.

It's an incomplete DLC rip-off. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Killer-Instinct-Confirmed-to-Be-Free-to-Play-Extra-Characters-Are-DLC-361866.shtml
Also read in some previews, it was a mediocre fighter.

Still looks better than most of those games on the PS4's list

And Xbone 720p will still be a weak, casual orientated kinect, overpriced cablebox.
To be honest I'm not really ready to count indie games as top draw exclusives. Don't get me wrong they can be fantastic, but simply on full retail launch line-ups the XBoxOne just shades it for me.
That being said I'm 100% going with Sony next gen. Not for what is on display now but for what I know will be a fantastic list of exclusive titles announced come the end of next year. I'm investing in it's obvious potential.
IMHO MS have pretty much "blew their load" early with Forza, Halo 5, Titalfall announcements. Nothing really more to come from them. Sony on the other hand have so many aces up their sleeves. You just know they have Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, Japan Studio, Sucker punch and Santa Monica Studio beavering away on some fantastic games yet to be announced.

Yeah it definitely is hard to count all the indie games, especially when there are so many of them and they lack the media coverage that the big games get.
But even though I am not getting a system at launch, the one game I am truly pumped up for is Resogun. Super Stardust was a great game (especially in 3d, probably the best 3d videogame, imo). But resogun shows even more promise in my opinion as the best shoot-em-ups have always been ones with a fixed direction your ship is facing. I know its bi-directional but you get what I mean.
the fact is multiplatform games are at the moment overshadowing any exclusives for either console.
O man xbox one has more launch games, well no it has 3 exclusive games more the rest are multiplatform, with all the big announcements already been shared Halo and Fable there won't be much more for 2014, which is always the same from MS.
Sony on the other hand have so many first party developers up there selves that 2014 is an exciting time for Playstation 4.
That's a lot of indie games. MS really messed up in not courting indie developers from the beginning.

We already knew about it being free to play. That doesn't make it a rip off, for one, you only play for what you want and two, the combined price of everything is unlikely to cost more than a full priced game.
It's unlikely they'll ride everyones ass like Capcom has been doing with SF4 all gen. Combine the prices of all SF4 games and DLC to all those game, just to get the full finished/balanced experience.
What Capcom did is worse than Fifa when they only make season upgrades into a full game. As a consumer it is not my problem that SF4 still needs balances and tweaks. As far as i'm concerned they were charging a lot for patch updates.
As for the game being good, being a DD only game, the developer are likely going to be working on it till the last minute, so i'll wait for reviews and opinions at release.

I've never really looked at Resogun so thanks, I'll check it out. I do have Super Stardust but I've not really played it for more than 30 minutes. Never thought to try it out on my 3D TV. I'll have a go when I get home. The only game I've really tried in 3D was Uncharted 3 which impressed me greatly.

No prob. Superstardust is a feast for the eyes in 3d. Its really quite amazing and I'm surprised it hasn't gotten much coverage or praise when I was looking for 3d games to play. I've tried the following games in 3d and superstardust was by far the best
Deus ex: HR (PC): Very good but not worth the downgrade in resolution and FPS
Sleeping dogs (PC): Unstable and crashes the game constantly so I couldn't get a good feel for it
Skyrim (PC): this game is not native 3d and I had to mod and tweak a bunch of crap in order to get it to work. It was a cool experience but not worth it to me.
Gears of War 3: Pretty good but aliasing and FPS is noticeably worse. The impact of sliding in and out of cover is felt much more.
Uncharted 3: Gameplay is similar to GOW3, cutscenes are absolutely beautiful. Also, there are a lot of effects in this game that look very nice in 3d like ash floating in the air from a fire or rain.
Warriors Orochi 3: Crap and not worth your time
House of the dead Overkill: Extremely enjoyable in 3d. Probably my second favorite game in 3d due to the zombies jumping out of the screen at you.
Gran Turismo 5: Probably the best 3d I've seen in a full retail game, although I'm not a big fan of racing sims so I didn't play it much
Wipeout HD: Very clean IQ, a step up from gran turismo. probably second best 3d game in 3d quality.
Super Stardust HD: As before, absolutely amazing, perfect 3d game in my opinion to the point where I will never play it in 2d ever again.
What I've found is that the less graphically demanding games tend to be better quality 3d than the retail games. Also, ps3 3d was noticeably better than the PC games I've played.

WOW. Extensive list.
I think having paid £700 for my 3DTV i'll have to start playing a few more games on it. Only played 3 so far. Uncharted was great, Batman Arkham City was terrible and Assassin's Creed 3 almost made my eyes bleed with how bad it was.
Wipeout, GOW3 are anothers I have but have yet to try in 3D.
