Casual Americans switching from 360 --> PS4 Phil not helping

Saw this on twitter, attractive girl said FF7 remake made me make the jump to PS4.

Phil Spencer has not mentioned ff7 or anything about that game. Neither has anyone at xbox like Major Nelson. Why wouldn't you talk about a blockbuster like that the old school gamers adored? By ignoring it you are insulting gamers everywhere who still want the game.

If i was Phil ff7 would by on my mind constantly assuring everyone that its coming to my platform and that they are putting money into the project to speed it up.

Xbox 360 was friendly as hell I loved the bright colors on the 360 logo the console was inviting and powerful. The XBONE has a dark green box art cover logo a big bulky russian box console that is designed by a BORG. The box art is not as inviting to a gamer as the ps4 light blue logo.

xbone needs new management asap to turn things around.

In a lot of ways, you'll do have a point. Ever since Adam Orth spill the beens on Xbox One DRM, the 360 owners got really piss off, when MS unveil Xbox One, the damage just got worst, at E3 2013, Don Mattrick got smart at the mouth, and from there, MS lost the battle from there 360 fans and made the jump to PS4. I was one of them but in a good way, I glad I got PS4 first, follow by Xbox One later when they drom Kinect and the high price $500 and paying $500 was just way too much for a gaming console.

P.S the girl is pretty. I would love to take her out to Dinner.

As for the rest of your post, let me just hover over most of it without touching to get to FFVII.

I loved the original when it came out, still have the discs and the PS to run it, I've actually played some 5 years ago, only there is a problem with disc 2, on a certain part I need to get disc 3 in to load the city and then change back to disc 2, don't ask me how it works, it just does. After that I've even bought the digital version for the PSP.

Now my problem is, it's gonna be a REMAKE, and those never live up to the originals. They'd have to pull out all the stops and make something absolutely incredible, but what have we got so far? Pre rendered cutscene, how much time and money did that cost?
If I had my way this game would have NONE of that, and some FF fans might be getting their novelty sword out already to stab me, but my idea was to put all the time and money and resources into the actual game and have all the cutscenes rendered in real time.

Conclusion, and not only regarding your post but also your signature, FFVII remake has been something that was asked decades ago, but it's still a REMAKE, so like me there are gonna be a lot of skeptics, in other words, it alone will not tip the balance of the PlayStation 4 vs Xbox One as much as you might think, even because JRPGs were never a big think on any Xbox so it's not something the people that have one will be super interested in.

He probably can't talk about an XB1 release by contract. Sony paid for time exclusivity in regards to consoles. Same reason why Sony can't talk about Rise of the Tomb Raider.

@nyadc: I just think they should change it back to the light green color of the 360,. Yeah they should put the the disc and set up an everything like it was on the 360 when people open it up they want to feel like everything is the same experience and are used to it etc.

I don't understand the dark green color on xbone it's very unwelcoming to me. I like a sexy light green color like the 360 was it was perfect and had no reason to change and they should go back to it.

It may not even release on the xbox (first could mean later on PC but not on xbox) so yeah it really makes sense why no one at M$ has even slightly mentioned it, makes total sense and major proof it just may not even go to xbox but yeah no one knows.. heck the game may not even release till the next generation lol

@tushar172787: I will double dip. FF7 is meant to be played on PlayStation, but will pick up the PC version too for preservation purposes and technical upgrades.

Casuals are flocking to PS4 because it's what their friends have. If you want to play with your friends, and they all have PS4s, then your decision has already been made. Seen it many times with the people I know.

Currently as we know Xbox One and PS4 are less than 750k apart.

Xbox One has constantly won software write a few months.

The 360 versions of games still chart, last holiday 360 won cod.

Trust me I've become as casual as it gets, I buy COD every year, I think RPG's are lame, and only play games online with friends, don't even get into single player stuff anymore!

So yeah I'm dudebro, lol, and I don't care. I busy gaming year for me would be buying 5 games. Look at this year alone the only game purchase I made for myself so far is MK:X and that's basically all I've been playing right now, occasionally I throw in some COD:AW, MCC and just finished Sunset OD so I'm done with that game. My next purchases will be Rare: Replay, COD: BO3, R6: Siege, Star Wars Battlefront, and maybe Fallout 4 but I wasn't supper thrilled with my Fallout 3 purchase so idk. Then probably Halo 5, The Divison, Doom, are we seeing the pattern yet.

I decided on Xbox One because I like shooters, I like online play, I prefer Xbox controllers. I wanted something more than just a video game system the majority of my xbox one use isn't even gaming. It's a very casual system.

The color complaint is ridiculous.

It's most likely just a time exclusive, sure, but still, you get your budged according to projected sales, and those depend on units sold. If you present it for 3 platforms...
