When Dragon's Dogma came out over a decade ago, people were calling them "Crapcom" at the time.
Now when Dragon's Dogma 2 comes out, people are calling them "Capgods" nowadays.
How the times have changed.
Lets not forget that back in 2012 Capcom was in a really shitty state. Lots of people expecting them to go bankrupt.
Capcom was really bad during most of the 2010s. Once they released Resident Evil 7, they got way better again.
Yea, and from what i've heard, they replaced a bunch of the management by much younger people than what they had previously, and that lead them to what they are now.
The younger staff probably grew up playing Capcom games and were motivated to recapture the glory days.
That's exactly what i've read has happened, and always wondered if this was indeed true.
