Can We All Agree That The PS3 is A Much Better Console?

The PS3 is a better machine all around

the hardware is fenomenal

-Failure rate is very low, the machine is super silent, doenst get overheated as easy as the 360

Multimedia

- can rip videos from a cd or dvd to your harddrive, can rip songs from your ipod or mp3, can watch your favorite videos on the web brower ( megavideo, youtube, and many others) stream videos from your pc ( 360 does this as well i think)

Internet

- ONLINE GAMING IS FREE!!!!!, we get atleast 1 update every 2 months, web browser is not so bad either.

Games

- Did you see killzone 2? MGS4? Uncharted 1 and 2? We got some really cool games, and many others on the way but i still think the 360 has the edge on this one, but fear not, because 2009 will be a great gaming year for us, with GOW 3!!!!!!!

So... If I don't think PS3 is the best console I am a fanboy? I'd much rather play 360 for it's RPGs,Shooters,and RTS games.

nope the 360 is the better gaming console from top to bottom...if it wasn't for the RROD the 360 would have been the perfect console

Strictly hardware ? Maybe, it's arguable which is more powerful.

Games? Doubtfull.

Online Service? No sir. Despite it being free.

Look? Yeah, it's a nice looking peice of kit.

Functionality? Yes, has Blu Ray, over the Xbox.

The PS3 version had higher res textures on stuff like rocks.

But the object draw distance was shorter.

so in some ways the PS3 version looks better, and in some ways the 360 version looks better.

PS3= more reliable than X360

PS3= better multimedia machine than X360

I agree ps3 is better in hardware, but game wise it very close, but I think ps3 will really surpass 360 in terms of games this year and coming.

I think everyone can agree that the PS3 has more hardware inside and is overall more reliable.

Anything beyond that is going to be very subjective tho...

I believe its the better system, I dont see how that can be denied. However the 360 does have more games I want to play and still continues to produce more games which is frustrating for a PS3 only owner like myself. nikolai37
