Call of Duty Halo's Killer?(Poll)

Well like you guys already know, MW2 just came out and it sold more than any other videogame in history ( as for the first week)

MP is one of the most addictives of all times, it looks awesome, and most of all its FUN!

Halo OSDT came out, not a big a deal as it was (halo3), Same with Halo wars, so it got me thinking

Is COD the halo killer? do people even care about halo anymore?

Will Halo reach take the crown back?

Not really. The both have different feels to them in both mp and sp. It all just boils down to preference. Also multiplats will always beat exclusives in sales.

Halo is not good enough to be even worth killing. It's fun in small bursts, but otherwise, it gets a big meh.DragonfireXZ95

It's more of a console thing really, PC gamers will probably find it too slow.

If Halo needed to be killed and such a "killer" indeed existed, I suppose it would be CoD. Personally, I don't care for either.

If there is a need to make polls looking for a Hallo Killer it is obvious that there is no point for looking for such thing. Halo is that big.

I voted Halo will kill itself. I found Halo ODST horrible. I finished the game in a couple hours. The game had it's moments but it didn't live up to what it's supposed to be. I hope Halo Reach doesn't noobify the online.

Are we going by scores in overall quality of games? If so, no Call of Duty has ever surpassed the original Halo in scores, with it getting a 9.7 here and 97 at metacritic. There's yet a COD game to even tie with Halo 3 here, which got a 9.5 here.

And I enjoy Halo more than COD, at least it takes some skill, unlike COD.

Halo is anything but dead. It's the series furthest from death out there. If anyone think that anything is the Halo Killer, they are either massive idiots, or fanboys.

Meh, Halo's multiplayer is way better.

It might have sold more in it's first week, but it didn't dethrone Halo just as Counter Strike has also never been dethroned on the PC by more successful games.

Nothing kills Halo. Actually, the Halo 3 community is still alive and thriving, so it's not dead. However, this IS CowSpot, so most the poll says "Yes".enterawesome

Halo wasn't killed by COD. But COD did open a lot of 360 owners eyes there are a lot better FPS on consoles out there than Halo.Messiahbolical-

Yah, but if you think about it there's only one game cows have been talking about for 8 years, and that's Halo. Even if that is a generalization.

Cows will vote against Halo not because they want CoD to win (they could care less about CoD), but because they want to see Halo fail in the poll.

Agreed. That would compelely get rid of the point of Halo. Also, if all multiplayer games had Call of Duty 4's formula, then Halo 3's MP would be a Godsend.
