Call Of Duty 4 Single Player Is 5-6 hours

In Neogaf, the latest OXM details are in aswell as scores but the most controversial highlight of the news is that the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 will have a campaign mode of only "5-6 hours" long.

If this is true, it should get a rating of an 8 just like heavenly sword(since that was the only complaint by GS about the game). Interesting...

Its just like the movies. They keep spending more and more making the **** look good than actually making sure its a great product and can stand with the test of time. Now, I'm not saying this game will be bad, I believe the opposite. this game WILL be good, no doubt.

They said the exact same thing for halo 3 and gears of war and I like both of those single players. Plus, I've put over 100 hours of online into both of those, and will probably do the same with this.

thats cause Battlefield doesnt actually have a campagn...its just multiplayer with bots instead of really people...even according to EA, its just a practice mode.

Battelfield 2: modern combat had single player, I didnt really play it but it wasn't just a map with bots. It had a story and a different play type where you could jump between soldiers and take advantage of thier weapons.

it'll probably be 10 hours long or so, which sounds great to me, call of duty 2 is imo the best WW2 game that ever came out, beat campaign on veteran, and played more online in that than any other game

CoD 4 will have online play = replayability. Still though, anyone hyping it AAA should probably rethink the hype, 5-6 hours is terrible for todays standards, but then again it is EA we are talking about who made the game.DSgamer64

even if it did have a campaign that was the same length as HS did you ever consider that COD4 also has multiplayer?

you maybe about too breeze through the game in 5-6 hours on the girlie easy mode, but if you ever played CoD2 on veteran then im sure youll remember how tough it is.

heavenly sword wasnt marked down just becouse it was short, it was marked down becouse it just wasnt a very good game.
