Breath of the Wild 2 or Starfield - which one are you most hyped for?

Neither, but if I had to pick BotW2, at least we know what to expect from it.

Kinda unfair to match. 1 is a series that has spanned since our childhood, and a sequel to one of the best games on the Wii-U and the Switch, and the other is a new IP.

I hope both are excellent. Although I don't own a Switch so won't get to play BotW2.

I'll be getting both games but not mega hype for either of these games mind you.

Horizon: Forbidden West will be the perfect mix of the two!

Easily BotW2, but I'm excited for Starfield too.

Starfield. Being a sci fi RPG in the same vein as Elder Scrolls is enough to pique my interest.

I'm more interested in Starfield personally. I played BOTW when it released 4 years ago, beat it that week, and moved on. It was a decent 8/10 game but I'm always far more interested in something new and original than another sequel in a decades old franchise.

The team behind BOTW or Fallout 76, pretty obvious which will be the better game.

Bethesda is a developer still bound by one of the most archaic, clunky engines in existence.

These poll results won't age well.

That’s why I had to vote for Starfield (though neither is really my most anticipated game). I just really disliked the weapon degradation in BOTW, which colored my entire experience with the game. Until it’s proven otherwise, I’m going to expect the sequel to carry that element forward.

It's hard to get hyped for starfield when we know so little.

Breath of the Wild 2, obviously. It is a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time. Meanwhile, Bethesda Game Studios has never made a decent game before IMO.

Well you gotta admit putting those two games up against each other makes a whole lot mooaar sense seeing as they share a whole lot more in common and both being sequels to games we know a bunch more about. :P

Starfield holds my interest because it is new in several ways while BOTW2 is known in many ways.

Zelda for me as it's my favorite Nintendo IP (except Skyward Sword) and I'll actually be able to play it.

Um, Zelda. A new Bethesda IP I know nothing about has a lot to reveal first.

BOTW2 will be played by the vast majority of gamers WW regardless of what a SW poll say.

There would be more people playing Starfield than BOTW2.

BOTW 1 was one of the worst Zelda games I have ever played. Starfield is just going to be another Fallout in space. So how about option 3? Neither.
