Spencer says going to honour contracts and keep supporting games that are on other platforms (existing games). But their plan is to make exclusive games for XBOX customers everywhere gamepass is available

One thing that I can agree with is that Gamepass allows for developers to experiment which is good for gaming.

Certainly makes sense that they’ll honour contractual obligations for games that are on other platforms but their goal is to bring future games to their platform exclusively.

I don't think they are forcing people to subscribe. Old games that are available cross platform will still be supported. New games will come to devices that support Game Pass.. I think he just said it that way to show it will come to XBOX, PC, & Cloud and you will be able to buy it there or use game pass to play

Games will be released on physical media as the have for decades...but also be on Game Pass day 1.

You can either buy the game or subscribe.

As far as Playstation, it's really no different than Sony buying insomniac games.

Want to play Spiderman? Buy a Playstation

Bethesda games? Buy an xbox or PC

If Sony allows GP then Playstation users can play Bethesda games

@girlusocrazy: What doesn’t make sense? Bethesda’s games will be on any platform that supports GP. That’s Xbox and PC. You have gamepass, you get all the games day one. If you don’t, you can buy them outright if you have a pc or Xbox.
