Very hyped for Bayonetta 3. I have Bayonetta on the 360 and the Bayonetta 1 & 2 combo pack for the Wii U but I’ll definitely get it again for the Switch, those games are just that damn good.

Disappointing, i won't buy a Switch for one game just like i didn't buy the WiiU for the same reason.

Honestly, I might get the Switch in 2-3 years. So long as it doesn't go the Dreamcast route.

@needhealing: Buy the games you want before you buy your Switch because, I learned the hard way that Nintendo games, first or 3rd party do not stick around and get spiked in price later on. I plan on buying Bayo 3 before my Switch. I'm just waiting for Prime 4 to actually buy it lol.

Congrats but I would have loved to get this on the X. Still have to play the first though, but gameplay is pretty good from what I played so far, just never got around to finishing it yet.

I got the first Bayontta for free via GWG months ago for the 360 but I've never thought about trying it.

People seem to enjoy these games, I may check out some youtube vids

Nintendo deserves to this sequel after having the good sense to fund the last one, curious whether Nintendo had to pay Sega off a lot of money to make this next entry or if they got the use of this license cheap on account Sega didn't have the good sense to fund any sequels themselves. I also wonder if there's a future for Vanquish after this.

Anyhow, on a side note, I've been wondering about that rumor of a Vanquish/Bayonetta combo pack we heard about a couple months back, is that still on? Or does this Bayonetta 1 + 2 Switch port mean that's not happening?

THe second one blew me away tho. From start to finish.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 coming to Switch! looks like I'm buying it again and Bayonetta 3 is a nice unexpected welcome gift.

About as tip top as 3d beat em ups get.

Pretty much shares that spot with the (good) Ninja Gaiden and DMC games.

Tons of depth, absurdly over the top, and built for replayability.

it's quite literally the spiritual successor to devil may cry.

Yeah just read the Bayo 3 part lol, but still it's not enough as the Switch doesn't have many third party games, as I can't live off of 2 games. Sorry but Nintendo's own games don't interest me.

Not really. Historically speaking, people often bought systems for one game and later on, branching out later. The majority rarely can afford a ton of games at one time such as:

• NES for Mario Bros/Duck Hunt.
• SNES for Mario World.
• PlayStation for FFVII.
• PS2 just because it played DVD, not even a game.
• Xbox for Halo.
• PS4 for Bloodborne

It is a common practice, actually, but if you don't have disposable incomes, then there's no shame of not buying a console for one game at all. Just thought I give you an idea how few people buy a console to play one game.

Here let me repeat myself, i'm not a fan of Nintendo's own games, and the system has little third party support. So I would be wasting my money, now don't take that to heart, if you enjoy your Switch then i'm happy for you, but it's not for me.

i am not a big bayonetta fan.

i have my bayo1&2 edition for the wiiU still sealed. i played some of bayo 1 on PC and it's kind of boring to me.

will buy all 3 games in case i decide to finally jump in one day.

You remember when Bayonetta 2 was announced. Fans melted down, leading to things like death threats to Nintendo/Platinum/SEGA. Now? None of that (or barely a thing of it). Wasted a Colbert gif for nothing...

Well good! I'm glad a 3rd game is being made and Nintendo is willing to fund the title. I'm also glad they're porting Bayo 1 and 2 to the Switch since the Wii U had a much smaller fanbase. Also, Bayo 1 and 2 is at a perfect time to be release in February 2018 after the slow month of January.

YES! Holy shyte this is some exciting news. Loved the first two games. I bought the Bayonetta bundle on Wii U and I’m not going to double dip on that, but Bayo 3 is another nail in the coffin of the competition as far as exclusives go.

Do you even play any BAYO games ? Never seen you talk about BAYO other than Pokemon :P

Kind of depends on your standards, the game rarely hits 60fps if you arent standing in a corner with nothing happening, runs all the way from 30 to 60 in action

This is an utter shame, another great franchise doomed to be exclusive, I enjoyed the hell out of Beyonneta on PC and was hoping SEGA would open up to porting the 2nd game (given their whole speech about bringing games to PC and all) and now it looks like they not only made the 3rd game exclusive but its obvious that they have no intention of ever leaving nintendo. "sigh", well i suppose this raises the Switch's value.

Can't wait for this.

I skipped the WiiU, but my Switch is ready. Its rebounding for me since Mario Odyssey sucked imo. Really enjoying Xenoblade chronicles 2

Hope the Bayo 2 port ditches a resolution bump in exchange for better frames.
