Avatars, Microsoft's Answer To Home And Miis

Not sure if this was already posted before, most likely it has because it's so superior, but sorry if old.

With Home, the avatars you create are kinda more realistic, actually they're too realistic, and you know what happens when a video game gets too realistic, it kinda makes the game not fun or whatever.

Also with the Miis, you kinda lack options for creating avatars, but people have to work with what they got and ended up with different looking Miis.

Now with Microsoft's Avatars, it looks like you could make some of the coolest characters around. You could make them badass to funny looking. Awesome.

All consoles in each generation were pretty similar. If something is good about another console why not add it if its easy to do? Im sure next generation some sort of achievement system will be standard on all platforms.

Uh so the 360 should purposfully not use analog sticks just to be different? All good ideas shold eventually become standard IMO. Consoles should include all great features and from last gen and whateve new stuff they come up with. Next gen achievements and motion sensing will be standard.

Look at Sony's originality. Thats so brilliant its not even inspiring. At the end of the day, Sony are only doing the same thing as Nintendo (and MS are too, if these rumors are to be believed) but the only thing that Sony add to it is a house. A virtual house!!:o

whats wrong with companies copying eachother? If no one did it, then it would take much longer for consoles to advance.

Its called competition, everyone copies everyone. Its a good thing too.

It's hard to believe it by a $100 drop will not accomplish much for Microsoft. All Microsoft needs is a very good gimmick like the Wii. The same with the PS3.

Look at the current price difference between the 360 and Wii -- there isn't much of a difference, yet the Wii keeps selling outrageously.

I still don't get what's so great about achievements. Unless they actually earn something for you like microsoft points.... who cares?
