Poll Are you playing Tears of the Kingdom @ 4k 60fps? (44 votes)
For those that know. And if you're not quite hitting 4k, all good.

Just saw a OLED TotK special addition Switch bundle for 360 bucks, was tempted but trigger wasn't pulled. :P

Man, can't go wrong with that purchase. Switch is dope.
@nod_calypse: How you choose to play the game isn’t up to you. When you bought the game, if you did, which I highly doubt it, you agreed to Nintendos ToS which by copyright law has the right to dictate how you play its game. You don’t own the game, you’re leasing it from the copyright holder.
@mesome713: Come on, ,man. First you call me a pirate, now a liar. I'm neither. Yes, I pay for all my games. Every single one.

I thought so too but dunno, then I saw this thread. 60 fps would be even dopier. lol :P

Well, you should pay Nintendo for the product, no joke. Then jump into PC land.

Sure, for the game but not for the Bait & Switch itself. lol :P
@mesome713: You're wrong, dude. Dumping files on PC is certainly not illegal. As long as you pay for the game, meaning you buy it from Nintendo, you're good.

doesn't include the game :)

The above one doesn't have the game included, the lower one does, so its not in the SKU itself but extra add
@nod_calypse: Heres you some videos to educate yourself on the subject of intellectual property and the laws and ToS's to protect them. moon is an amazing copyright lawyer and will take you step by step through all the laws and ToS's.
@mesome713: lmao 🤣 intellectual property is a scam dude. Plus Nintendo is already stinking rich.
Ps, there's nobody to blame for this situation than Nintendo. They decided to release a potato hardware in 2016, and still 7 years later they're riding that potato all the way into the ground. It's expected to go into 2024, and probably even 2025 before the next potato switch 2 releases. This device will finally be on par with the Xbox one from 2013.
It's no wonder people are turning to pc...if Nintendo had any decency they'd make a proper console that competes with the Xbox series and ps5.
@mesome713: Lol, dude, Nintendo aren't the feds. They can't dictate law. You can dump files legally, no problem. Again, pay for the product, and you're good.
@pclover1980: That was a joke, i hate Sony, i would never play their games. But yes, you can get Sony games for free on PC ;)
Just cause someone said they got the game for free doesnt mean they pirated it. It doesnt violate GameSpot's ToS, nor Sony's ToS, nor government copyright law.
This thread has been flagged for its violation of Gamespot's ToS, Nintendo's ToS, and Government Law.
No laws have been violated.
Stop being a corporate bootlicker, you don't owe Nintendo (nor any other company) a single thing.
Everyone here has purchased their right to the game, and can use that on whatever platform they please. That is the law.
Emulation is not illegal, and the Gamespot terms are outdated at this point and exist more as a "cover their ass" move than anything necessary.
Also, you "hate" Sony? Why "hate" lol?
Just...calm down. Not sure why you're like this, it's very bizarre.
@mrbojangles25: Emaulation of nintendo games is highly illegal. Your not allowed to even copy the game.
How can I obtain copies of someone else's work and/or registration certificate?
The Copyright Office will not honor a request for a copy of someone else's protected work without written authorization from the copyright owner or from his or her designated agent, unless the work is involved in litigation. In the latter case, a litigation statement is required. A certificate of registration for any registered work can be obtained see Circular 4 Copyright Office fees, for this and other records and services. Circular 6, Access to and Copies of Copyright Records and Deposit, provides additional information.
Educate yourself. Unless Nintendo says you can, YOU CANT!
@mesome713: Let's just say you're ignorant of federal law, and leave it at that.
No no no dude...Nintendo IS the law 😋

Lol, I know. Dude is impressively nuts.
@mesome713: do you feel this way about all products from any company, or just Nintendo?
What if we were discussing emulation of Sony products?
@mrbojangles25: We’re not allowed to discuss emulation, piracy, or copying of games as it goes against Gamespot ToS.
Unless of course it’s about a pirate going to jail and being sued millions of dollars for his life of crime 😊
You didn't answer the question.
Would you be showing the same zeal if this thread was about emulating a Sony game, or any non-Nintendo product?
