I'm mostly single player. I would say 60-70% single player. I like having the time to go at my own pace. I do like playing multiplayer games though. The only thing with multiplayer is a lot of times you have to put in the time to be decent at the game or you get your butt kicked. Good examples are FPS and fighting games lol. How about you, SW?

Single player only. At this point in my life MP is a no no as I need to pause my game all the time due to my really young age daughter.

like 95% single player. I'm not good at being social... only multiplayer I really play is with my daughter. Even if I'm in an MMO i'm going solo for as much of it as I possibly can.

I used to do MP (splitscreen, modem to modem, LAN, and online) from 1988 to 2009. After 2009, I hung up the gloves for good and stuck to SP nowadays.

Full on single player at the moment. I go through phases, it's always either totally multi or totally single. Spent years playing nothing but MMO's, that was weird, great but weird. Not sure what would ever entice me to get back into multiplayer at this point. I don't do 'casual' multi stuff.

I was always mostly a singleplayer gamer, loved co-op and local multiplayer too.

But nowadays I feel that online multiplayer has been dominating my gaming time. I just can't seem to get enough of some of the online multiplayers offered in FPS and RTS:

Historically I'd say about 60% online, 40% singleplayer/offline.

But in the past year, ever since I stopped playing Battlefield 1, I have been strictly off-line. I haven't found a great competative online game to rival Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield series, and I am not a fan of online games in most other genres. I used to play a lot of WoW and SWTOR, but after those two I have't found a compelling MMO to suck up my time, they all come across as Korean-esque fodder.

I play SP/MP/co-op all the time, unlike the cows who get spoon fed their SP games I can hang online.

Makes you wonder why the cows pay for PS+ because if its for the free games then that is sad :(

About 90 percent MP. Cuphead, Ori and Fallout 4 were the only SP games I've played recently. Even SP campaigns in MP titles like COD ww2 bore me (Didn't finish it). Titanfall 2 was a brilliant campaign though, as was Portal 2. Pubg, BF1, BF4 and Rainbow 6 right now.

95% single player. Monster Hunter and Destiny(Ugh, never again) are my MP games. I do enjoy couch co-op but can rarely find any games anymore.

But always looking for that next online co-op game... I got a buddy in Texas and Canada who I do most of my gaming with.

I'm a mix of like 60 sp/40 mp. But often even when playing a special game I chat with friends unless I really want to grasp the story.

98% SP

2% MP

Oh, wait. I still play the occasional (NFL/NCAA, FIFA, NHL) two-player sports game on the PS3 with relatives if they come visiting. Otherwise, it's all SP since 2009.

Mostly a singleplayer, but also love large scale shooters online like Battlefield and Planetside 2.

I'm currently having a blast with SW Battlefront 2. Despite all the hate, it's a damn fun and feature packed game.

historically singleplayer but increasingly Multiplayer

I use MP gaming as a means of catching up with/hanging out with friends since as we get older its harder to actually do that in real life. I also keep meeting people online who I like to play games with.

the top 15 most played games in my Steam account are all multiplayer-centric

Hard to say but probably more multiplayer overall, around 60%. It's always been like that with me, with my early systems the NES games I loved to play with family and friends couch co-op titles such as Contra, Life Force, River City Ransom, Double Dragon, etc

I would also play mp games in the arcades a lot, such as Street Fighter 2, TMNT games, NARC, Gauntlet... just to name a few. I really enjoy the competitive stuff as well, and I am good at it, games that require good hand-to-eye co-ordination and planning, I was good at that stuff since I was young and enjoy the process of getting better and using all my senses to defeat an opponent. Responsive gameplay is a must, so I like the online scene today a lot because serious devs absolutely understand the necessity to have solid netcode online and responsive gameplay. And today you can easily find such games. Gone are the days of shit ping and all kinds of online issues, although they do exist the scene is a massive improvement compared to before and players are far less forgiving towards crap.

I also love single player games, I play a lot of those as well but usually when I am more in a chilling out mood. When I play online I feel it requires more of my attention and energy.

@GarGx1: Fair enough. I understand.

I was struggling today at my friends place with his toddlers running around and we were playing PUBG. I nearly erupted more than once. But the game has me in It's grips and I jump right back in. Addicting as all hell.

I'm a mainly single player gamer, however, I really enjoy co-op in both online and couch. The only reason I bought Destiny, Destiny 2, Battlefront 2, Friday the 13th, and Monster Hunter World were to play online co-op with family and friends.

Historically, single player, mainly. Multiplayer, lately. Or, better said, Max Payne 3 almost exclusively for months.

Pretty much SP, occasionally play MK8 or some shooter online. Fighting games mostly consist of spammers, some are easy to outmaneuver, some are not. I wish fighting games put out a mechanic that if it notices spamming, it would make the character shoot himself in the face instead :D

Multiplayer, always have been and always will be. I cannot stand single player games, I like playing with and against live players, not some stupid computer controlled AI.
