i've been PC/Sony since the PS2, and I guess Xbox now since i sub to gamepass on PC

I’m not sure. I do have a PC but it’s very old, like nearly 20 years old. However I do have games for it and once in a blue moon I’ll fire up some StarCraft, Red Alert 2, Baldur’s Gate 2, or whatever. I’m mainly a console gamer though and play stuff on Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony systems. Technically I game on all systems I guess but just never kept up with upgrading the PC hardware. 🤷‍♂️

A manticore as i believe it, is someone who owns all PLATFORMS, so no Xbox, means no manticore.

PC, Xbox, PS but honestly I haven't gamed on a Nintendo console in a long while so not sure I can really count that.

Yeah I game on most platforms in some form or another. That stupid term means nothing because different people don't consider certain forms as countable to qualify, like if you don't game on a high end PC for instance, or some don't think smartphone gaming counts.

Now we have Stadia, and there's also handheld gaming on Vita and 3DS and hybrid gaming on Switch. I doubt there's anyone out there that plays on absolutely everything.

I'm mostly PC and PS, but if a game i really wants is exclusive to one device then i will get said device.

I just hate on all the platforms until they get better, really.

It would be pretty dumb to play on a single platform due to some kind of brand loyalty.

When my PS5 I will have played on all systems in the same year. Normally its many systems.

But dont do it nearly as much as I used to.

Playstation as the main with Nintendo as the side generally for me.

havent had an xbox since 360 and doesnt seem like I need to get one either, tho the conan way of getting one for ninja gaiden has crossed my mind a few times..

@Pedro: if I covered a PC and an Xbox Series X and all you could see is the controller and the TV, what difference would it make?

I tried at one point, but PC just has everything except the occasional exclusive which, as PS4 taught me, frankly are not that good.

I just don't see the point to spending money on systems that are ultimately going to be collecting dust.

Might try Nintendo next gen, though, I haven't really tried anything from them for quite literally a decade or two.

Haven't played my PS4 since dropping Spider-Man in like July of 2018.

Probably not getting another PlayStation, but Nintendo still gets games once every couple of months I want.

Not all Sony games are on PS Now..MS has promised to bring all first party games to PC. They have said PC is very much a part of their ecosystem now.

I stick to one system usually for each generation, always PlayStation with the exception of Xbox 360. Never owned a Nintendo console or handheld, although the old gameboy games always looked fun.

I am whatever SW wants me to be and I happen to be a PC gamer for the most parts and I also own PS4/Switch just for exclusives. That said, call me whatever pleases you...even I don't know what am I. I'm just a simple gamer.

You're not a manticore as you don't own an Xbox, playing MS games on PC won't change that, so you can stop trying to move the goal post moo moo :)

I have not played on any platform not made by Nintendo (with the exception of the PC) since the video game crash of the early 1980s when I used to play on Atari platforms (2600 and 5200). I have played on most Nintendo home consoles with the exception of the Nintendo 64, and most handheld systems with the exception of the Game Boy Color.

The reasons I play on Nintendo systems is that Nintendo's first-party games are usually the games I play and enjoy. Very few third-party games (which often available in Nintendo's competitors) appeal to me, so I cannot be identified as a manticore. Even so, I am a fan of games, not systems so I play the systems that have the games I want to play and enjoy.

I play on all of the above and more which makes me the great white mythical manticore of Christmas past or some shit.. lol

PS4/Switch and maybe sometimes PC if I ever get an itch to play Europa Universalis.

Used to be in generation 6 & 7, got a PC just before gen 8 consoles released and have not seen any reason to buy any of the consoles throughout the whole generation.

Pretty much all Xbox games were on PC, most Ps4 games ended up on PC or didn't interest me (single player movie games)

And Nintendo is Nintendo, think I just grew out of their offerings when I got older, not likely to buy another one of their consoles until I have a child and it will make a good first console.
