This comes from industry-tracking firm The NPD Group, which will release its full report for April later today. My guess would be that more people in America bought an Xbox One than a PS4 in April. It's really not that hard to work out :p

The XBO sold 115k last april so add 63% more unit it should sold like 180k and the PS4 less than that the PS4 did 199k on that april last year.

Still waiting on whether PS4 is above or below 3DS. if it's below real numbers won't matter.

The 3DS is 71k in difference from Xbox one. So if PS4 is below that's bad (and also very very strange) but if it's above, then it'll be at least less than a 70k gap.

I expect it to be above, but I also didn't expect SOny to do better in Software all of a sudden despite this being the Month Xbox one won.

So I guess a good question to ask is why anyone would actually purchase this abomination.

Nice win for xbox one. With E3 and Gamescom, MS could carry momentum for the remainder of the year if they can knock it out of the park. Hopefully this might force Sony to counter and slash the price of PS4 with some bundle deals during the fall/holiday season 2015.

PSN is always up ive been playing destiny past week not one issue NOT once on PSN all service 100% operational everyday

Looking deeper in the gaf thread about the latest NPD I'm hearing that the PS4 could have sold as low as 150K this month.

I'm going around muleiptle sites, including gaf, and getting a range of 10-78k gap.

We won't know until Either Bartoal of generation or Cream Sugar of gaf.

@ProtossX: The stats are already in man...it dropped after one week in the UK and it obviously didn't move units in the US if the One in a game drought beat it. Just because you bought the PS4 for BB does not mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Fact is BB is not for everyone.
