Anyone else annoyed with microsoft

that they are still charging full price , the same price it originally launch with, for xbox live?

It was ok when it came out because compared to PS2 it was worth it. But now PS3 online is getting better and better that paying for xbox live seems like a waste. It would be nice to have a PS3 and not have to make thedecision to buy a game or to play online.

Just don't buy it???!!??? If you have a PS3 buy multiplats for it, but single palyer games for 360. Problem solved??

meh, i stopped paying for live because i stopped playing online games. the price should drop on it because i play cod waw on ps3 it feels the same way on xbox live. both of them use peer 2 peer networking. xbox live all of the games are like that.xscott1018

I'm annoying with Microsoft. We roam the neighbourhood together and take turns to see who can be more annoying. OT: Live isn't the only choice for online console gaming anymore like it was last gen, both the PS3 & Wii's online are vastly better than their predecessors. So yes, it sucks.Floppy_Jim

I pay $29.99/year. Not bad, imho.

I don't mind. Mainly because if I don't do multiplayer, I can stop paying or I can buy timecards which are cheaper. I am not without options but I think the price is worth it.

Whether you hate Microsoft or not, it's only a fool who denies that Xbox Live is an excellent service that is easy to use and full of excellent options. And it continually evolves in new and interesting ways.

I have no probelm with paying £40 a year for a great service, so no it does not annoy me.

Yeah, it is kind of annoying knowing that I could of bought a brand new game, but had to get live instead. Oh well. I don't think it will ever be free so I just have to deal.

wow u guys are complaining about $50 a year!!! its worth it for fast severs and good line communication I dont mind because I love using media center with my 360 otherwise

NOONE takes into consideration what all MS does with XBL, noone......obviously. 50 bucks is more than justifiable with everything xbl has to offer. if it doesnt have anything to benefit you, like i said...go get a ps3 and have a nice day. but stop spouting off all this xbl is too expsive....xbl should be free, crap. also....not that its really that big a deal i pay yearly 40 bucks for xbl.slvrraven9

PSN is getting better and better? I noticed a huge lack of updates for the PSN dring E3 while Xbox Live is still adding new content at no extra charge. Also $40 for 13 months isn't really that bad at all. Would I like it to be free? Yes I would, but I also know alot of the support and upgrades we are seeing wouldn't be happening if it was free.

If you want to play online with the 360, you'll have to pay $40 for 13 months which breaks down to like $3 a month. If that's too much then maybe gaming shouldn't be a hobby? No reason to be annoyed with a company that is trying to not only make money so they can continue to bring you great content and games, but also grow their service and offer you more without raising any prices.

If you are looking for the same level of 360 games and free online play, maybe you should try PC gaming?
