You buy a console to experience games. This is a game. It's not like you have one option, either this game or everything else. :/

You do, but you need to justify your purchase, and for over 2 years, there's none to be had from MS.

I could say the same about the PS5 though. Not many games I'm interested in, not many taking full advantage of the PS5 hardware. I call my PS5 a glorified PS4. It's all dependent on the user. While some may say the PS5 has a ton of excellent games, I would say it's meh. It's subjective.

Anything other Elden Ring is wrong. Anything other than Elden Ring or God of War Ragnarök is just stupid.

Elden Ring is the clearest #1 and GOWR is the clearest #2 there has been in like a decade.

But some small sites will always try to be different

You being interested in them or not is not the same. Nobody can deny that the PS5 has high scoring exclusives, and all the award winning ps4 games like Ragnarok are signicantly better on the ps5. So it really is not the same. The price of the PS5 is justified now.

I have zero interest in Elden Ring, but it's bonkers to me that isn't the choice for every publication. Maybe a few outlier picks of GoW: Ragnarok, but really there is no way a "book game" is GOTY.
