Have you played every MGS? IF not then of course you wont understand how the fans feel. The story is great if you can understand it. I admit it took me some time to piece everything together,but when you do its really interesting. Same goes for the characters. I admit there are some werid funny moments in the acting,but noting that breaks aways from the game.

Doesn't deserve it, but then again, these are the same people that somehow think MGS4 has better "technical graphics" than Crysis Warhead, which is a complete joke and 100% inaccurate. But anyways, congrats to those that love this game. More power to ya!BioShockOwnz

Yeah, it was kinda obvious since it won every single award it was nominated for (even that dreaded Best Technical Graphics). After it beat Grand Theft Auto IV for Best Action Game, we all knew it was all over.

But whatever. It's a great game, not my favourite this year, but it's amazing for real fans of the series and I'm sure they're glad.

Does it change the fact that I enjoyed the second one much more than the fourth? No. Actually, MGS2 is among the best games I've played. MGS4 doesn't come close.
