Actually what do lemmings have to look forward in 08?

this is a big question mark in my head.

they constantly bash cows listing games that are coming out in 08 and laugh at them for waiting.

so what exactly do lems have to go against games like:

1. Grand Turismo 5
2. Metal Gear Solid 4
3. Final Fantasy 13
4. Little Big Planet
5. Home
6. Haze
7. Killzone 2

We'll here a lot more about the 360 line up for 2008 in 2008, unlike the PS3 the 360 actually had some worthwhile games coming out in 2007 to concentrate on in the build up to Christmas, not a collection of delayed or soon to be delayed games that may end up being just as good as Lair.

They aren't much but even those games in the360 "worst" year out shines the PS3's exluvise for this year :P

Next year ourpotential AAAE will be added to our already nice list and well the PS3 will just have to hope thatthose get AAA scores because at the end of the day AAAE's are what counts on SW.

Not that many multiplatform games in that list, the only unconfirmed title being Cry-On, speaking of unconfirmed titles have a word with the other cows already hyping Motorstorm 2 and other such titles that have only been rumoured.

Still, whatever helps you sleep at night, if you keep repeating this garbage you might even end up believing it yourself.

You mean in comparison. Well. I not entirely sure. I just bought my Xbox 360 a few months ago. I am not too interested in Too Human. Alan Wake is the game I am looking forward to. Resident Evil and Silent Hill are two respectable survival horror games but I think Alan Wake is going to enlighten us. Umm. Lost Odyssey is coming out early next year. I am big Sakaguchi fan but Blue Dragon was disappointing. I saw some new footage of LO from TGS and I am impressived. The guys at Lionhead have a big chip on their shoulders I guess. I was watching the Xbox Live Diaries for their upcoming Fable 2 game, and sometimes I feel like they're lying threw their teeth about the experience. But! I did like the original Fable so hopefully this is good. And Banjo 3 which is still a mystery.

Anyone like to sound off some other games? I mean Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of the biggest games next year. So is GT5. LittleBigPlanet looks awesome. Some of other games I notice a lot of people don't care for. I mean, Haze is well..a FPS. I can't say anything else exciting about it. I am looking forward to seeing how White Knight Story turns out and hopefully it's a Japanese RPG that can compete with other games outside it's genre(haven't seen that in awhile). Even though Naughty Dog is all over Uncharted, for some reason..I can't put my finger on it..but even though the game is beautiful I have no interest in it.

I only count around 2 or 3 multiplats on that list. Of course they will seem mediocre to you because you're clearly a cow.

Motorstorm 2 has already been confirmed when Sony bought Evolution Studio.

Home isn't a game.

FF13 won't come out in 08.

Uncharted is coming out in 07.

Haze will most likely still be coming to PC and 360.

Killzone 2, what does it have besides graphics, and Killzone 1 wasn't good at all. Why is this game suddenly incredible, and a system seller?

WKS looked good at first, but the gameplay got downgraded. Still looking forward to it though (i love rpgs). Unproven franchise.

MGS4 isn't a system seller. MGS3 sold poorly considering the user base.

LBP looks very innovative, and could well be amazing, but its unproven, and i'm not sure if its a system seller.

GT5, though i believe Forza2 will be just as good, this game will sell systems. The only really system seller apart from FF13 but that will be in 09.

As for 360 the above posters have already listed the games. PS3 has bigger more proven franchises in 08/09 that is all.

I only count around 2 or 3 multiplats on that list. Of course they will seem mediocre to you because you're clearly a cow.

Thats all subject to personal opinion however, only MGS4 an LBP, I more interested in disgaea 3 then anything else you've got listed there. On the 360 I want Too Human, NG2, Banjo 3, LO, Cry-On, Infinite Undiscovery (If your wondering why I don't like WHS then watch the gameplay videos, looks pretty but plays like ...), KUF: COD (probably make this year).

There are probably also a few un-annouced titles on both platforms at this point as well, so its really not great to judge until about march next year or later.

Saying your personal opinion on games is fact is like saying your a freakin messiah, not everyones the same an has the same tastes.

There's a difference between now and future games being good:

- The ones out now have been reviewed and scored so only the strong(AAA) survive arguements

- Future games aren't gaurenteed AAA just look at MP3, LOZTP, HS, Warhawk, Lair; meaning the arguements about them being "good games" are opinion or fanboyish denial and ignorance.

Nothing in future has been confirmed so who knows those game could get better scores than expected and those that are being lable AAA's already could very easily dissapoint.

Trust me its much easier to dissapoint than it is to suprise ;)

Besides the AAA's 360 has this year will be lasting me way into next year such as:

Forza 2

Halo 3

O.B.

Bioshock

And more then likely AAA Mass Effect will have my attention for at least the 1st half of 2008 !

All its got is HS,Motorstorm,Uncharted,Warhawk and Rachet.

Thats 5 AA-A games, while the 360 already looks to have more than that for 08(Fable2,Halo Wars,Slinter Cell,Banjoo and Alan Wake)

On topic, the ps3 08>360 08 by a long shot.But 360 2007+2008>ps3 2007+2008.

The list that was posted only had 2 or 3 multiplats:| (that arent on PS3 btw). Haze isnt exclusive, yet you listed that.

Basically what I'm getting from the TC and other Sony fanboys in this thread is the following:

Unproven games on the PS 3 (Specifically Uncharted, Haze, etc.) = Guaranteed AAA

Unproven games on the Xbox 360 = Flop!

How can anyone argue with that logic? :roll:
