3080 for me. 3090 is way too big and the price is gonna be over $2000CAD. Gonna wait to see what EVGA's version is like.

I'm really tempted in the 3080 myself and the price is good.

But I mean if I wait a year they might do a 3080 super, or release a 3080 with more VRAM.

Waiting is good, but buying now is also good. Hahaha, dunno what to do :P

I'm plenty happy with my 1080ti right now, but I mean prices could only increase with Bitcoin scalping going on... The prices they announced are actually pretty sweet :)

RTX2000 was one of the smallest leaps and now they actually claim one of the biggest leaps (in one of those shots I posted). I'd love for that to be true.

And just like that those $1200 GPUs became worthless lol.

Don't care about 8k or even 4k for that matter, but likely still getting the 3090. It'll be a god send for a lot of the non-gaming stuff I do, doubling as my gaming GPU is a hell of a bonus.

Yeah, plus selling your current card would basically offset the cost lol. I'm gonna offload my 2080 and hopefully take a decent chunk off the price.

Might go for a 3070 when RE 8 the Village releases. Can't afford anything higher than this. Working at half salary for last six months for Covid 19 Pandemic, got me family to feed.

I'm just waiting on the damn pre-order on the 3080. I am SO pumped for this card. RIP to my 2070 AND next gen consoles.

At a certain point the pixel climb is redundant to the naked eye and it's nothing more than a marketing strategy to get the gullible and the power-hungry to shell out more money.

Biggest gen leap ever? Twice the performance of a RTX2080? $700 for that beast? Take my money. RTXIO killing the console advantage before they even release is sweet as well. Great showing for Nvidia.

Happy for it being £649 UK, means Nvidia know more about Big Navi than we do. Don't believe these competitive prices otherwise.

8gb is bad for a 500 buck card,

10gb is bad for a 800 buck card

2090 seems like a solid card for 1500 its laughable.

I think a lot of people will go team red next generation, or nvidia will introduce new cards that drop the prices. 16gb or lower v-ram = laughable at this point for next gen cards.

Yeah the 2x claim could be with RTX DLSS on. But I mean it does seem like a way bigger leap than RTX2000 ever was.

Console kids hyping 9-12 tflops and PC is crossing the 40 tflops mark BEFORE the consoles launch. 20 tflops for under $500... And we all know Nvidia flops > AMD flops. These new cards are insane.

lol my idea of the 3080 being $700 was right..... But damn 20 TFLOP of the 3070 and 30 TFLOP for the 3080...... PS5 being only around 10 and XSX being around 12 TFLOP..... oof

I'm not buying the 3090. But I'm all in for a 3080.

I thought about why Sony said they're looking to bring more games to PC. Having games run on that kind of power is irresistible. Those consoles better be cheap as hell now.
