Me like
ANd this is the Power of the CLOUDS?? I don't know , I loved Crackdown 1 when I had it on the 360, but this game doesn't look next gen at all. I hate to say this, but it looks like a last gen game that I've already played.
Cant wait to get my mittens on this and crank the difficulty to the max and co-op with friends. Hopefully this freeroam demo gets released at San Diego Comic Con.
Im going to assume Multiplayer gets shown at GamesCom, fellow xbox mvp streamer has been telling me to stay tuned for Crackdown 3 at Gamescom.
See all the unverified gamers are out in force with the haterade with being scared of co-op gaming with other people.
@jcrame10: Thank god it doesn't look like those games mentioned! It's looks like Crackdown awesomeness....which is what it should look like.
You people who keep saying the power of the cloud need to educate your damn selves. The cloud is only part of the multiplayer and not the single player. When they were going to have it part of the single player everyone started screaming about online only so they had to scrap it. Fanboys who say shit and don't even know the real story are the worse fanboys of all!

They know this. But they want to spread false information. It's already too late, and their false posts will be seen in Google searches.
Some juicy tidbits about the game and why it took so long in development.
Sumo on Why Crackdown 3 Took so Long “Just Incredibly Ambitious”
Mark Sherwood July 11, 2017No Comments 0 likes
According to Sumo Digital’s Design Director Clint Bundrick, Crackdown 3 has taken so long to develop because the game is “just incredibly ambitious”. Bundrick was interviewed recently by GameReactor, where he was asked why the game has taken such a lengthy time to put together, to which he replied:
A game like this is just incredibly ambitious. The campaign world is twice the size of the city in the original Crackdown, and not only in terms of footprint – the tallest building is also twice as tall as the tallest building in the original game. So it’s a super ambitious game for the campaign and then an incredibly ambitious game for the competitive multiplayer mode. This is a franchise that deserved to come back right and we wanted to take our time to do it right.
Crackdown has always been a game about a verticality, a bit of a vertical platformer, and it’s still very much about that. We’ve added some stuff like the double jump and the airburst, so now players can combine those moves and make this long, crazy jumps that not even we are anticipating. Players can also use that in combat: you could be in the middle of a big jump and if somebody fires a rocket at you, you can airburst to dodge it. It gives the player way more choice and in the moment to moment makes the jumping a lot more fun.
Crackdown 3 is set to arrive on Xbox One and PC on November 7th, yup, the very same launch date as the Xbox One X, to which the game will run at native 4K and 30 frames per second on. Crackdown 3 will also support High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Dolby Atmos.

uhuhhh...I've never played a Crackdown game but it kind of reminds me of Sunset Overdrive with the jump and shooting mechanics, and that game was far more interesting.
Already pre-order it and totally looking forward to how Crackdown 3 plays out.
Media is loving the game right now after playing it.
Hopefully it lives it up it's expectations and I'll be working on the hype thread :)
Though I'm only interested in the windows 10 version so I can jack up my PC for raw power!

SO did have some crazy guns in it.
The blackhole gun in this looks ridiculous with its physics elements.

SO had some awesome weapons as well as traps. The traversal mechanic with the grinding was super fun too.
Look at all the butthurt Cows! Hahahahah This game can't even run at 10fps on the Pro. This game is so physics based that anyone on PC running anything less than a 7700k forget about getting 60fps.
The MP is going to be shown in a few weeks. All you X haters are going to be Owned soon!
Looks like a low budget game that has been in development hell since it was announced. I see it scoring 6/10 here.

Also LOL at Gamespot and their crappy review team these days. They are journalists not game enthusiast. You can really tell in more difficult games because they complain about a game being too hard.
Looks decent. The original was an underrated classic, that only did well due to Halo 3's beta been tied to it, but it was a good, fun game in it's own right.
The second was complete garbage, largely due to been turned into a Zombie game for no reason at all.
This one I might pick up if I have the time, but with so much coming out the end of this year, I might have to hold off.
watched the video. maybe i missed it but where was the destruction ?
You can't have an always online game when everyone doesn't have online.
i have not been really keeping up with it but it has to be online for destruction?

Correct since it is a cloud feature. The multi-player will feature environment destruction.
after thoroughly enjoying Sunset Overdrive, this looks pretty lame, both in terms of presentation and gameplay, but I didn't like the other Crackdown games either so this isn't a huge disappointment, I'd rather just go back and play Sunset Overdrive and hope in the meantime that Microsoft has the good sense to fund Insomniac for a sequel
So I guess the whole "true 4k" thing is like saying "true destruction" when describing this game. In other words, not true 4k, and not true destruction, but rather "sometimes 4k", and "sometimes destruction".
That looks horrible. Infamous 2 looks better. Stupid Lemits.
The tears of a cow.
LMAO enjoy another QTE game with Spider Man but since your a Sony fan I'm sure the less gameplay the better. It is not like you are used to actually having to play through a game, enjoy another Sony QTE and cinematics movie scenes Sony fan lmao.

I think it will be in the 60s on metacritic. The game looks like shit dude. It will bomb just like Recore.

Most Xbox games have scored low this gen.
First off this site has been proven to be biased.
Beyond that who cares? It is about games and gameplay and there has never ever been a Sony exclusive known for good gameplay. I am a gamer and I love playing games. There is not one Sony game that is known for having great gameplay. You take your beloved Uncharted and even all of them are known to have poor gameplay. No one has ever said I love The Last o Us because of the combat. That is cause you are not gamers at all, you love a movie. Look I get it you're a Sony fan and you do not care about actual gameplay but real gamers like to do more then movies. Sony games suck for real gamers. You can scream to the skies about Spider Man but that is clearly another Sony QTE game. The average Sony gamer can only do QTE and movie scenes. All the games you love to rave about have zero gameplay.
Not impressed, I might just replay the first game when they put it on BC first, before I think about ponying up for the third game. That first game had some short comings, but god that frame work had so much potential. The core mechanics are fucking there, and the structure itself is great. Here is a goal, go take care of business, we'll see you at the end. No bullshit about your stupid ass cousin, no cell phones, no drive all the way out to bumba ****, no drive these clowns to a cemetery, just full stop: lay fuckers out.
If the outposts themselves were varied or allowed for even more interesting ways of getting rid of them, they would have a gem on their hands. Especially if it incorporated the destruction that was in like Red Faction Guerilla or something, shiiiiiiiiiiit.
Alas that game will probably never be made, because that would require a publisher to bet on fun.
