Now that we have identified the games under the flagship "Square Enix", we now have a clearer view of how wide the coverage this union is. This will be the basis of our updates and discussions... Hmm... More info in the coming days.

Nice list. The only non-RPG there that I've played is Rad Racer.

SE was red hot from the mid 90's till about the early 2000's when the ps2 came into play.  I know someone people are going to disagree with me on this but the ps2 and these other next gen systems have had poor quality rpgs for the most part.  The ps2 did have a few good rpgs just mainly FFX and I will say that Valkyrie Profile 2 has a pretty interesting story its just that the game is so one dimensional.  I feel like in Valkyrie 2 I'm walking down a hall the entire time, its worse than games like chrono trigger on the SNES which gave more room for exploration.

I can't help but wonder what exactly has happened to rpgs.  I agree that DQ8 was a well made game with plenty of good exploration but it needed a much darker world and a much more realistic story line and then I would consider the game to be on par with FFX and maybe even better than it.

ive played energize, and it still works as well as my FF7, ive beaten so far FF,FF2, jest started FF3, FF7,FF8,FF9,FF10,FF10-2, nearly beaten 12. so yah i could say i have played a lot of SE games, also i beaten Brave fencer Musashi, Parasite eve, Radita Stories, Star ocean the 2nd story, Star ocean till the end of time....., damn i cant remember them all.

Any one know where i could find Parasite Eve 2 without going on Ebay, i looked everywhere for the past 4 years for it at gamestop, and Ebgames, i could only find Parasite eve 1.

That's a huge list that brings back good memories... hopefully, at some point in time, some of great games like Chrono Trigger will get more attention and have people working on something new.

I didn't hear of that. The list is very complete but you haven't mentionned FF: The Spirits Within and The Final Flight of The Osiris (from Animatrix) I know these aren"t games but they're SE !

I've played most of the RPGs. And i don't think PS2 went downhill on RPGs, maybe you haven't played much of them, tried the megaten series yet?

But Final Fantasy did go downhill, that is true. Final Fantasy X is good, but XII isn't so much.

I think FF started going downhill when they kept making spinoffs and games for FF7. The game(FF7) wasn't even that great.

Wow, it's gets me remembering all of oldies I played which were by SE, I didn't even know until later. I reckon we should start writing up articles on the older SE games, descriptions of some old classics we older gamers managed to play, show the ones who didn't get to experience them. I know there's a section on the homepage for it, though it hasn't been used yet. I'm willing to contribute ^.^

Well..if you have the other 125 then I can say you can deal with medicority with them. :P Because Grandia Xtreme......is god aweful, doesn't hold a candle to the other games in the series. GXtreme was done by SE? I assume it was published by them then....I know they didn't develop it.
