I love Brett Favre. He plays the game with so much passion and heart. They will never be remembered as better QBs, but there is nothing I enjoy more than watching a gunslinger like Brett Favre make those big plays.

I also like Marques Colston. He works hard, plays great, and you never hear a peep from him. I will take Colston over a flamboyant receiver like Ochocinco or TO any day. That's why I think Steve Largent is the 2nd best WR in the Super Bowl era. He was a class act, let his play do the talking for him, and was never a detriment to the team with his off field behavior.

Drew Brees has always been my favorite player in any sport. When he came out of Purdue, I wanted so bad for him to prove all the analysts wrong who said he was too small and lacked the arm strength for the NFL. And when he broke out with the Chargers after they drafted a QB with their top pick, he just became a favorite of mine. Colt McCoy is someone who I feel like is going to do something similar.

Hines Ward

Hard working, tough receiver. He is a solid player and he always contributes in some way. He's also a great guy off the field and does a lot in the Pittsburgh area, and lets not forget about his foundation in South Korea for mixed race children.

Hell, us Eagles fans lost half of the roster from last season. My favorites were always Dawkins, Westbrook, Sheldon Brown and McNabb when they were there. Then after McNabb got traded last year the only player I really could say was a favorite on the team was DeSean Jackson or Quintion Mikell.

Oh, how wrong you are... Vick was drafted as a Falcon the same time I got into Football, and it was amazing to watch. I was never one of the people who gave their dog their Falcons Vick jersey so they can tear it to pieces. I still have mine in fact, along with an Eagles Vick Jersey that I got wheh he was signed by the Eagles and I'm currently looking for a Half Falcons/Half Eagles Vick Jersey.

Me when Masterlive suggested Vick be named the starter after the second half of the Greenbay game

Oh how the tide have turned on Kolb. This simply shows how true the idea of a back up QB being the most popular player on the team. If you don't have a Brady, or a Manning, that back up always looks good. Since I live in Atlanta, I know all to well what Vick is capable of, and NEVER believed he lost any of it. Michael Vick would have single-handedly won that game if he started... but sadly they had Kolb start and Vick could only shine in the 2nd half. He will start the next game, and then after he wins, he will start the rest of the season. Kolb will be traded to San Francisco. No_Hablo_Ingles

Me when Vick was announced the Starter.

Same here. Vick will win against the Lions, and we'll have a huge QB controversy. Andy Reid will want to start Kolb.. but the Eagles fans will be Chatting "Vick" with every Kolb throw.No_Hablo_Ingles
Me in week 3
So glad that he is doing so well. When he does well against a good team, people will just use some obscure injury, or reason to explain why Vick did so. But hey, Haters goin Hate.No_Hablo_Ingles

Only going to bother with NFL because I have a lot:

Colt McCoy (He has something special in him, can't wait to see him play next year)

Devin McCourty (He has played some of the best recievers in the game, has 6 picks, and is only a rookie)

Jamaal Charles (Doing absolutely fantastic, 6.4 yards per carry)

Tim Tebow (He did good for his first start, and I think his future is bright)

Darren McFadden (Doing great in his 2nd season, people need to pay more attention to him)

Ryan Fitzpatrick (So underrated, he is a great player that is stuck with a not so great team)

Danny Woodhead (Small guy, big talent and big plays)

Julius Pepper(Just fun to watch, he is very good)

Yes I realize that is a lot but honestly I can't choose.

Other faves in the NBA are Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and of course... Tim Duncan and GINOBILIIIIIIIIIII!!!

Because I think he's something special. I watched him play at Florida and think he has amazing potential, a tremendous heart, and a strong will to win.
