Good. Let's face it, among the huge amount of 2006's problems was the weirdness of trying to put technicolor woodland creatures in the "real world" especially when US and European audiences grew up with the idea of Sonic living on an alien world called Mobius, not to mention the "realistic" citizens of Soleana were swimming around in the uncanny valley as opposed to the fun "Pixar esque" folks in Unleashed. Not to mention the fun, colorful stages of early games as well as Heroes, Colors and Generations just seem to have more vibrant life.
Also I'm just not a fan of "gritty realism" in my games. The real world is boring, drab and dingy, I play games to get away from that not replace one depressing world with another.
Not to mention that creepy attempt in 06 to make Eggman look "realistic."
Oh and don't read the comments, because once again screams of Sonic Adventure 3 start popping up though some of the more intellegent folks point out that from a gameplay standpoint 06 was Sonic Adventure 3 but just wasn't called that.
