We've had Shadow vs. Vegeta and Sonic vs. Mario and now it's a battle of the mad scientists and their creations. Dr. Wily vs. Dr. Eggman or rather their robots Metal Man vs. Metal Sonic enjoy.

Or the Ark, Wily can't stop the planet blower upper gun. Or They could have used the badniks from Casino Night, the drill nose guys who pop out of the ground, the explody stars guys from Metropolis (or any of those pricks). There are a lot of very powerful badniks they left out.

Better fight: Both sides use every robot in their arsenal for an all-out war. They could make an RTS out of it even, though the plot'd be rather thin.

I am surprised Zero didn't show up but I guess Zero is to Megaman what Shadow is to Sonic. He was a bad guy then became a good guy and all.

Not to mention that Zero is sort of hundreds (or was it thousands?) of years beyond any of the other robots, and while I don't know about Wily, Eggman certainly can't live that long. :P
