Best Grand Finale level?

Dr. Robotnik has created his fair share of ball-breaking final levels in the past, but which did you feel was the best climax to a main series Sonic game? I'd say it's a tie between Scrap Brain and the reimagined Planet Wisp.

So not only Eggman capture Super Sonic and unleash Dark Gaia onto the world, he finally creates Eggman Land. Or at least a prototype.

Eggman Land was awesome, had a few easter eggs, and was difficult.

Doomsday hands down.

For those who have said Doomsday Zone - Doomsday Zone isn't really a base, guys. It's space. Space is not a base. Your base can be in space, but space is not the bass. (Side note: Space is the Bass would be a cool name for a band). Atmospherically, I liked Panic Puppet Zone (Sonic 3D Blast). Honestly, any final boss lair you have to enter via the nostril of a giant effigy the villain built to himself can't be anything but a part of the best base ever.sonicphc
