@suicidesn0wman: Yea I spent a good amount of money on them. They were the 3 to complete my snes collection(of games I want). I usually don't spend that much on games like that but I had gift cards from xmas for 2 of them. 125 for MM7 in that condition was just too good to pass up and 85 for demons crest cib is pretty awesome.

I do spend too much money on games....especially for a 34 year old!

So, here's my retro December-January haul. And yes, I now have all the SoT trilogy of Prince of Persia games.

Picked up the collectors edition with remote for pretty darn cheap (40) and ordered the gold nunchuck off ebay. Going to play wii zelda games with style!

What kind of game?

It's been a long time since I posted my last pic here but anyways, I went to the Flea Market 2 days ago, I saw some old classic Game Gear games that I got and I finally found Warhawk on PlayStation, I honestly didn't expect see it there, but that's the game I miss out back on the original PlayStation. Total cost $47 dollars.

@davillain-: Nice, don't see many longbox PS1 games CIB these days, I pretty much pick up any longbox PS1 game I find if I don't have it. Was always a fan of the GG too, I see you got Shinobi with it, those used to be fun as hell.

I just picked up warhawk long box as well. Warhawk was the game that made me buy PS1 back in the day. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. Loved it and Warhawk on ps3

Man I totally forgot I own a Game Genie, this is really incredible, you don't see these thing anymore. My Sega Genesis, SNES, and PS1.

Indeed and you don't see those K-A ratings logos anymore as well, I forgot about those.

Yeah it was my most played PS1 game as well with many others, very nice to find this one in a good condition.

@davillain-: Yeah, Game Genies were cool too, I used to use mine as adapters for import games as well, though some slight mods are needed for that occasionally(adjusting notches in the back). Also nice TG-16 with Turbo Booster, those boosters are becoming quite collectible now. You find any games with that shit? Post pics of those too!

Picked this bad boy which is pretty mint. I've been after a gen 1 sega cd for a long time. Got a steal price wise. Time to put my Lunar I and II in there..maybe even time to pick up a nice CIB copy of Snatcher?

@n64dd: How much that set you back? F-loading SCD was one of the first things I bought when I got into collecting. Wish I had a box for it though, pita to find one complete.

@n64dd: looks like new, I added this one, it´s not exactly retro but it was new and I´ve been looking for it for quite some time, it´s incredible but early PS3/X360 games are becoming hard to find.

Been busy cleaning up the game room since last year, finally getting close to getting everything done. These are all of my pickups for 2016 so far, been spending most of my efforts buying cover art and manuals for some of my incomplete games. Didn't pay full price on any of them either, MTG was $2, Group S was $1, both .Hacks and RE File 2 were combined $47, Pole Position was $5, Life is Good I got for $30, Division Gold for $80, Eternal Champs for $2, Alan Wake & C&C for $15, Aerobiz was $40, Nuclear Dawn was $1, Battlefront 2 was $22, and last is Lodoss War & Slave Zero for $25.

Trying to find a manual for New Legends on Xbox, Case & Manual for Godzilla Save the Earth on Xbox, and a Manual for Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast on Xbox if anyone happens to have an extra they would be willing to sell at a fair price.

The Sims Bustin' Out - GameCube version (I've also reunited with the GBA version)

Picked up Scarface for OG Xbox for $1 missing manual, gonna replace the manual and art for another $3-4. Got 5 games total for $5(Scarface, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, Mission Impossible: Operation Surma, GTA Vice City & Madden 07, all Xbox), replacement parts will cost another $7, still a good deal though.

Grabbed a copy of Land of the Dead, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, and Future Tactics for Xbox, and a copy of Earthworm Jim 2 on SNES for a total of $30 this weekend. Getting Dukes of Hazzard, Redcard 2003, Shenmue 2, Volvo: Drive for Life, 25 to Life, and SRS: Street Racing Syndicate all on Xbox for another $40. Not the greatest prices, but all well under market value. Got a deal in place with a local retro store to sell me many of the sports titles I need for $1 each CIB. Once I get the ebay items I'll have less than 400 titles to go to complete the OG Xbox collection, sports titles will put me under 300 to go. Will post pics of weekend pic ups soon, and the ebay finds shortly after that.

That's awesome. My buddy is only missing 15ish games from the OG xbox one for a complete set.

Get me a list of those 15 and I'll see if I can find them or even possibly have doubles already. While you're at it, see if he has any doubles or 'parts' of his own he'd be willing to trade/sell. I'm keeping an eye out for the big ones right now, Teen Titans, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis and Futurama. Got about half of the games that are between $30-50 games now, only need a handful and then it's stuff like Dead 2 Rights 2 and Darkwatch left to go.

Next time I see him i'll ask him. We'll see what we can do.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy I already own on PS2, but I love the game so much I gave into the temptation for buying for another one of my consoles.

Thanks! Not surprised you'd forget about Sphinx and never played it as it is a criminally underrated game. One of the best Zelda clones of that era with Beyond Good and Evil.

@n64dd: Nice, I had a few decent finds this week, but nothing on that level. Catherine for the 360 for $4 was probably my best pick up out of the whole group, got a copy of KOF 2002/2003 off ebay for $11 as well. Finally got together with the retro shop and got the sports games I needed for the Xbox collection as well, got 53 of them for $1 each.

@n64dd: that´s a nice find.

I finally found it:

My wife put it "in it´s place" ,whatever the hell that´s supposed to mean, a couple of years ago, it was inside a bag in the service room closet where we keep "stuff". It was all dusty and dirty but nothing a good cleaning with soap foam and elbow grease couldn´t eliminate, and it works ! I see no point in installing it, I can play the games in the PS2/PS3.

@raugutcon: Nice, I've got mine on display but not hooked up, though I may change things up soon and put everything back in storage. I've got a bunch of items on display, but only a few hooked up, as much as I'd love to use them, I rarely do. :(

Machine Man, I picked it up this morning at my local Swap-Meat for $40. This is a stock picture of the game.

Just couldn´t resist the temptation ( if it weren´t for crazy people like us these things would become in a thing of the past never to be seen in the flesh ) I got this for $30 US, not a bad price, got to find accessories for it, I´m not planning to use it, I just want to display:
